Oh boy, another VA synth. This time from Waves!

Bought Crx4 from LinPlug.

CrX4 is a wonderful sounding soft synth with some great features and it has managed to "slip under the radar" for now..

I checked out the demo and I was immediately impressed by the quality of the sound engine...Wow

LinPlug has put some serious work into CrX4 and it shows in every little detail...

It's also well laid out and easy to drive...

I had made a New Year's resolution not to keep buying soft synths and VSTs without serious consideration,but I upgraded to CrX4 immediately because I slipped it in a few minutes before the start of the New Year

CrX4 is a very impressive synth...

It's my new "go to"

as in most other threads where we both discussed Kriminal does not seem to be really interested in my help which could be clearly seen from the style of his replies. He did still not answer the question about which host he uses after some tries from my side.

I think he made it quite clear many posts back that he isn't interested in troubleshooting the issue- why push him to when is not even interested?

I'm one of the rare people who doesn't use Waves plugins at all. I figured out some years ago that there is better stuff that costs less. Since then my mixes got better, go figure.

I would like to second that. And the GUI is so easy to use. No fake 3D perspective so you can see where all the parameters are set at easily... I must admit CrX4 was a real discovery... then I found "MorphoX", too... Linplug synths are great.

I provided lots of informations including screenshots but all detailed information he provided in many posts is the location of his plugins and still no info about the host software used.
I only know that sometimes he used Orion and i posted a link about possible problem with that...

This could have been much easier if he posted more details as a answer to my first posts.

After having experiences over a longer time he seems to have a certain habit and/or style of posting that at the end always makes me look like the "bad guy". Looks like it worked again.

How do you know I'm a Gearslut? Well I am, and I'm one of the rare people who doesn't use Waves plugins at all.

I personally was not a fan of Waves stuff in the past but the new stuff like NLS and REDD is really good. The nice thing about Element is how good it sounds for how little CPU it uses, which makes room for DIVA for the most important sounds.

Actually, I do. I've been a Waves user until 2002 or 2003, I think. For the time, their plugs were excellent, and I think their GUIs still rule as far as usability goes. Their "Renaissance" series is as old as last century, you know? Lots of new DSP code has been written since then... lots, heaps, piles of new, more sophisticated code.
