Before changing a preset a dialog should ask you 'are you sure you want to leave the current preset without saving' - This would be such a life saver...
or an undo button ?

Yeah, obviously an undo button would be great, but from other synths Ive played with - the undo function seems to only work for the currently selected patch. Once you change patches - game over. So if the undo could go as far as preset selection thatd be great.

Otherwise - I would care more about not losing all my current cells rather than accidentally fudging a single cell.

Definitely - any security that can be added when sound designing would be great.

Anybody know whether individual midi automation control of each parameter is planned? Right now if I map 'noise 2 release' for automation in ableton it affects all cells.

Hi,

Version 1.0.1 is now available.

- All presets now have velocity set by default
- Fixed: Keyboard showing random 'active notes' when using multiple instances.

No news yet... I still have plans to port it but it will take time.

Kind regards,
PJ

Ok thanks for the update.

looks like i may have to pull the pin on another drumsynth meantime. Damn.

one thing that is bothering me in drumatic is the ovedrive amount ..evezn the tiniest amount of saturation ( about 5 percent ) produces quite a lot of overdrive .
In microtonic , the amount is scaled verry smoothly , a tiny amountproduves just a small amount of overtones ...I would like to see this in drumatic .Ak
Also semitones instead of percent for osc.tuning and modulation amount .

Hi there,

Would it be possible to save the 'outs' setup across all patches? Exactly the same way you can save the keyboard setup for USER locked. So this would be USER OUTPUTS LOCKED.

Thanks

Just bought this. Thanks for the great offer price, and it was a pleasant surprise to download the latest version and see that velocities are now on by default! Great stuff!

Just to note I had to make the purchase through internet explorer as the drumatic site doesn't work properly with firefox here. I tried disabling all my addons but still no joy . Demo link gives:

I am still hesitating to buy drumatic ..for 2 primary reasons .
First one : the built in overdrive is a joke ...really compared to drumatic 3 and microtonic ...I mean ...it goes from zero ..to 3 percent almost full range ..meaning it's nearly impossible to dial in a smal amount of overdrive just to get some mùore harmonics...sometimes I just need a verry lil bit amount of soft saturation ..and it just doesn't provide it .
Second reason ...more carefull tunig of the cut off/resonance peak in the band pass filter ...when resonance is set high...the the cut of freq scaling is off ...it goes to arounfd 4 khz...when beyond 4khz it sounds like there is a lot of bleeding trough the passband ..
I don't know how magnus did it ...but he really nailed it in microtonic ...the resonace band can be so insanely small/steep ..

Is Drumatic good for 909 ? I see 808, cr78 and 606 kits, but no 909... If so, it could replace some of my other drumsynths.
(I know, i should try by myself, but i am wondering if anyone succeeded to create a full 909 kit and would agree to share it ?)

Also, is it a good replacement for the good old CM-505 ? It's an old piece of software, but i like its solid sound, it's very punchy. I would like to have a couple of "Simmon-esque" presets, but not in a retro/80s kind of way : i mean blasts of white noise, deep deptiched toms and solid, dirty, primitive drum sounds.

I can't seem to reproduce the issue here... tested in all browsers I have installed! ;-)

@Sinkmusic

It can do most of non-sample based sounds of the 909 if programmed correclty.
However, Drumatic does not aim to accurately emulate any of these classic synths.
I think there's a patch called 'Dance' that has a 909 kick and snare.

Probably a local issue on my machine then. Unfortunately I think I'm due an OS re-install to de-crud everything, just keep putting the pain of it off :)
