Filter 4 is the most analogue sounding filter!
I got enough real analogue synths here to know what analogue sound is.
I tested RePro One in every situation and configuration.
If you know how to use analogue synths you will hear that filter 4 is the only one.

Just Filter 4 can be the right one!!!
Other opinions than filter 4 got no idea what analogue sound is!

Voted 3 for sentimental reasons. It instantly reminded me of the monophonic analogue I had as a kid.

Have to add that 4 was a close second. Least favorite - 1.

Just a quickie while I recover form flight/end of vacation:

The equivalent of the Pro-One filters for Diva would be the Synthex for me, as it puts new things on the table, i.e. it goes beyond the Prophet5 rev3 which would be the obvious choice.

The main reason we wish to do the Pro-One as a separate product is, we can't match levels/mod ranges to Diva without either diminishing the Pro-One's strengths or making Diva unnecessarily complicated. We would also like to add another level of complexity to RePro (swappable Curtis chips maybe) which would make Diva a highly complex synth and also we would not want to ask for an expensive upgrade fee.

Also, in my first post I kindly asked for questions that concern product strategies whatsoever be posted in our company forum. This thread, and this plug-in actually, is for research of filter perception. It's the wrong place to ask for Diva's roadmap, hence my shortage of words.

After a lot of testing, I came to the conclusion that filter 1 sounds the best to me. It's really great to get those small atonal filter FM percussion sounds, which many VAs usually fail at completely.

It's been a while since I had a Pro-1, so I can't really compare it to the real thing at the moment, but you guys certainly nailed the raw power it has.

I can't wait to play with the full version, as the true power of the Pro-1 is the modulation section, the envelope triggering via LFO and stuff like that.

Just an idea. Would it be possible to implement morphing between the filter models? I believe the truth is somewhere there in between number 3 and 4.

Remember, as Urs has said, this is not five different filter models, this is one filter model, calculated in five different ways in terms of effort and accuracy. It's about finding the best compromise in terms of quality and efficiency...

Morphing would be cool, nevertheless. And they are called 'models' btw

Yes I know, in simplistic terms. Watch some of Urs' videos talking about the RePro, he even says "well, not really different models, it's the same model, just calculated in different ways".

My quick impressions:

1: bit cheap
2: bit unpleasant to listen
3: stunning quality, weight
4: nice, but little "overcooked", narrow, and dark
5: golden mean, good balance

I would choose 5 for everyday and 3 as a special (and cpu-expensive) option.
