Ah I see what I did differently to you, I didn't use full length quarter notes, If I use full length quarter notes then I see what you are hearing/seeing.
I would report it to Steve/Xfer.

I bet Xfer Records have had a contact form before, now I cannot see any.

I have discord, but all server links are invalid. Kinda disappointed, that I cannot report an issue. And how beta testers could miss something like this? Lol

They have a forum, but there are no that many responses from Steve.

How do Serum customers access the Discord?

Search my posts in this thread, I posted an invite a while back. I have no connection to xfer or Serum2, not sure if it still works but was the latest one I found posted by Steve at the time.

Worked after resetting my password, which was necessary to log in, although it would not show the Serum forum entries until I did a search for it. Just a heads-up.

If you want the phase to reset per-note (and also be in mono, mono assumes you want a continuous osc which is the sensible default for mono IMO), enable "per voice" in the lower-right of the osc display.

I'm still puzzled with this (though we found the solution). The manual says:

"All voices - new notes use the Phase and Rand control settings for all voices"

I mean, if the Random is set to zero, isn't that the same as:

"Per Voice: New notes start with the same editable phase each time?"

Not in mono with voice stealing taking place - monophonic assumes you want a continuous oscillator, this is how analog monosynths work of course.

Is the demo 15 minute limit a one-off thing, or is it reset if you reinitialise the plugin? I would assume the former as there's no mention of other limitations such as preset saving, but 15 minutes obviously isn't enough time to do much of anything.

You get endless 15 minutes, you just have to reload the plugin.

i tested when you move your original imported samples, beware! Serum 2 doesnt show the original sample location but only the filename. will report this as this can issue problems if you dont embed and move your samples some time.
TAL Sampler etc. show you the old locations.

I gather Serum never went on sale, and that makes the intro price window for this seem like a one-off. However, it's not a ground-breaking product any more, and the standard price of $249 look a little unrealistic in today's market. $189 is a stretch for me, and I'm wondering whether to just get it on the basis that there's probably a lot of good free presets around for version 1. I certainly wouldn't be paying the full price, so this would appear the only time I might get to own it...I'm not sure I can justify it.
