And also for Mac today

Post

Anyone else has this bug in 1.6.3:
Using a MIDI keyboard/controller, the Mod and Pitch wheels are not working in the CLAP version. In VST3, the wheels are working but are not animated.

Agreed! So mysterious...

Does this happen in all versions (VST2, VST3, CLAP)?

It sounds like someone is "helping" with the use of the source code.
I remember something about Vital was opensource.
.
Anyone done a viruscheck on these new ones?

Nah, that can’t be what’s going on. Only version 1 was open sourced. So much has happened between version 1 and version 2. This isn’t an open source situation. If someone is helping, they are helping with the closed source.

(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

Vital has risen like a phoenix from the ashes...

I knew that Matt was quietly working away, while so many people were slamming him...

Good things come to those who wait

He was "slammed" for very good reasons that still exist today even after these minor updates. If you don't know that you haven't been paying attention.

He still hasn't posted on his official company forum in what appears to be several years and left everyone hanging. There is no evidence that it's even him who is responsible for these latest updates because he doesn't have the common decency to spend five minutes to post a change log on his company forum.

Where are the "new features and new plugins" and all the other perks he promised his subscribers? And so on.....

I know simping for developers is all the rage on KVR but they're just business people who sell products to customers. They should be treated like any other business and be called out when it's warranted.
