Mails have been sent out!
LE loads fine in Cubase 5.1 32bit / Windows 7 64bit - unlike the XL version. Did you do your DAW testing on the WE?sonicfire wrote:Let me know your thoughts about the new LE version, folks!
I really like the idea. I've got no need for samples and loops. I haven't had time to try the new demo, but I have a few questions.sonicfire wrote:Let me know your thoughts about the new LE version, folks!

1. Yes, via the built-in rightclick MIDI learn.zerocrossing wrote: I really like the idea. I've got no need for samples and loops. I haven't had time to try the new demo, but I have a few questions.
First, can I record enable a track via midi cc?
Turn record on and off via midi CC?
Can I quantize record so that it starts at the next bar?
How do I sent the length of the each loop?
My idea is to use it for live looping for guitar as an alternative to Mobius.
Very happy to hear that!ugo wrote:I finally got the chance to try out 1.1. Dennis, the changes to the recording are exactly what I was hoping for! This makes Livemachine so easy and fun to use. I was able to jump right in and start making loops effortlessly. Awesome!

(Btw, I noticed a small visual glitch - the loop length controls move when you change them.)
Thanks for the info. This plug looks like it could shape into something really kick ass. Sorry, I know I'm out side of your target customer base, but as a guitarist/keyboard player my fingers are usually tied up and I need everything to be done via midi on the floor. The quantize thing is pretty huge for me too as I like to focus on playing and just give a heads up record message and have it automatically start recording and looping what I've been playing. I think a lot of people would appreciate these features.sonicfire wrote:Happy to hear that!bM3w wrote:LE loads fine in Cubase 5.1 32bit / Windows 7 64bit - unlike the XL version. Unfortunately not, but chances are good that i can do exactly this today.
Thanks for information!

2. Yes! (also via hardwired MIDI Note #84 / C-6)
3. Not at the moment, you have to push the button precisely, takes some time but you get used to it fast. But this is on my todolist!
4. Depends on your recording time, Channel 1 is always the Master Channel and "syncs" the other ones. Length of what you've recorded on Ch1 is also the minimum recording length for all other channels
Ok, cool - i see. The next little update will incorperate some kind of autorecording / precount - so that you can do "handsfree" recording in LE as well
