Actually, that's one of my big pet peeves about Amplitube/XGEAR. Mostly because of real time volume changes. I need to have a volume pedal on the guitar because if I want a stereo set up I can only control one volume pedal at a time. That's really limiting.

Hey Peter, when is IKMM going to open an official company forum here with you at the helm?

If we can use it with the MIDI Learn function, then we should be able to assign multiple parameters to it simultaneously.
Stealth pedal will definitely be happy to work as a standard DAW automation or midi CC controller, at least within the DAW itself. I'm not sure about using it standalone like that, but I want to say yes, it's possible - not entirely sure though.

I personally prefer Reaper's automation and learn functions to the implementation of stealth pedal in X-Gear for a lot of things, so it's a toss-up which I use. It is really handy to have StealthPedal default to controlling a wah/volume/pitch pedal if you put one in, but I also like the ability to do crazy multi-parameter stuff with defined swings.

My question was specifically if you could use the MIDI Learn function in AmpliTube 3 to link parameters to StealthPedal through CC, instead of (or in addition to) the proprietary automatic AmpliTube->StealthPedal connection.

If you can, you should be able to MIDI Learn any number of parameters with StealthPedal for simultaneous control. Am I mistaken about that?

Anyone still not getting the discount coupon?

I own all AmpliTube products. At least JHE, Metal, and Fender were bought separately (not part of a bundle). But I still haven't received any email/coupon yet.
Peace, my friends. I'm not seeking arguments here. ;)

poonna,

I never GOT a coupon either but determined that the JAM BUCKS were a better way to go.

Unfortunately, due to some errors on my part, my Jam Points has been split up and is not a better way to go now for me.

I bought Fender and Metal separately but I haven't received a coupon. I'm just gonna use my jam points.

I am definitely excited to see this release come out. I've been a fan/user of the Amplitube line since SVX was released. It's definitely made my home studio more valuable and Fender just blew me away in terms of quality. My vintage guitar player/collector friend was even convinced once he heard Fender for the first time A/B'd to his real recorded Fender Twin.

Peter, would you say this is as significant of an upgrade from Amp 2 that Amplitube 2 was from Amplitube 1?

To others: Is the Stealthpedal a better option than using a quality direct box to mixer to interface setup? I've been using a Radial J48-Mackie VLZ3-Delta1010 for about 2 years now. Or I am considering finally buying a Really Nice Preamp with its two Hi-Z inputs and putting that into a Black Lion Sparrow so I can have drums and two guitars being recorded at the same time.

If Amp3 lives up to the hype I will definitely be purchasing it along with the next band I book.

Props to IK for the upgrade option. I too would have been pissed because I just picked up Metal a few weeks ago. If the quality is on-par on better than Fender (meaning the sims are almost indistinguishable from the real thing, in a mix or solo) it will be a worthwhile investment.

From the looks of it IK is going to release this and then sell solo add-ons, like a stompbox here and an amp/cab there. Like buying invidual parts which I think is pretty cool. Very Rock Band (the video game) esque with Downloadable Content upgrades for those who want the parts.

I hope you got Metal from buying StealthPedal, because they cost the same and Metal is included for free.

For everyone who hasn't gotten their upgrade pre-order promotion code, it's probably because you have "Receive Offers/Promotion" uncecked on your User Area->Account page. Ticking it won't trigger the email being sent to you though. You'll have to contact support and request one.

I've checked, and mine was ticked, so I guess that's not the case for me...
