That's a WONDERFUL idea! :D

197 now.

I need more drums like a hole in the head, but what the heck. These GBs are fun and the value is certainly there.

Did you see this?
Squids wrote:... we're going to... offer the Infinite Player for free to anyone who gets the latest Ultimate Studio Drums Bundle II Group Buy. I am going to announce it in the other thread. Those that already have it can choose an additional Multitrack Kit instead. I think that should make a few people happy.
It was in the Thread Read "Steven Slate Drums on eSoundz Exclusive 50% off For USD Group Buyers" thread. Way to go Squids! This really changes things!

So close to 200 - I can taste it. New drums arriving in my download area waiting for me to use. We still have several more weeks to go - lets see how high it will go once it hits the lowest price - hopefully with the PayPal option more will jump on board.

I've got something even better. We're adding something to the pot to spice it up. There was going to be a redeem code that so far will choose ONE Multitrack kit out of a selection of 8.

Now we're going to do something even better than that and you don't even have to hit a higher threshold to get it either. You can now choose TWO Multitrack kits out of the 8 OR choose ONE Multitrack kit and a FREE Infinite Player. We're back to that option.

So, in other words, if you don't own Infinite Player yet congrats. It's now going to be FREE JUST for joining THIS Group Buy!!!!

If you DO own the Infinite Player already from either the previous Group Buy or you purchased it a la carte (which gave you a free bonus Deluxe Piano) or had Infinite Player before that with another SR product then instead you can have a SECOND Multitrack Kit for FREE!

Now remember we do also have a FREE DVD Option on the MAIN sounds of this which do not include the Multitrack kits - those would still have to be downloaded OR maybe we'll offer all 4 on a DVD for a reasonable price as an option... basically we just have to avoid extras on DVD that would be different from each other and too hard to manage is all.

That's great news Squids! You are awesome!

About the extra $50 (DVD option for the previous GB), how do I have to proceed? Is it a separate payment after I paid the $99 (for example, do I have to contact Allen, for this?), or do I have to pay $149 in a single payment? Thanks for you replies!

So the "first 200" and "first 300" qualifiers are not relevant any more for the additional MT kits? All enrollees can now get them. That's very good news and should tempt more sign-ups. :) (The first 200 were going to go into a draw for SWAG too. :))

Of course, the eSoundz web page will need to be updated to reflect this too - at the moment it says that IP is not included.

Let me ask you Squids. Are you actually earning any money on this deal? Or is it a charity action? :)

It's a CRAZY offer now:) Loco !!!

After you purchased this: http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?Prod ... =KVRUSD103

You would then purchase this for the original first Bundle's DVD option (which includes 4 Multitrack Kits + 1 Jazz STm kit) http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?Prod ... =KVRUSD103

So two separate purchases for the Ultimate Studio Drums Bundle I plus DVD option with extras.

For purchasing the Ultimate Studio Drums Bundle II with FREE DVD option you would first purchase it here (or join the GB): http://www.esoundz.com/details.php?Prod ... =KVRUSD203

and for the free DVD option when it ships (in about 2 weeks) you will be able to purchase JUST the shipping/handling cost and not have to pay for the DVDs themselves. Note they will not come with any "Extras" as that part will still have to be downloadable (unless we make those extras available on DVD as well but make it all extras for a reasonable price like above... we'll see how many extras we get in this current group buy before discussing that option in detail. Too early to tell! It could be big!)

I hope that helps!

For us Drum Masters 2 represents a huge investment for quite some time now. From the multitrack Rex groove side to advanced scripting to V-Drum and Custom Map support to Round Robin to Convolution Impulses from all over the globe to the kits and grooves of some of the best drummers... the kind of people most people would dream of hiring to play on their album...

But what is it all leading to? It gets spread across a range of products for every budget. The same work making the scripts for Drum Masters 2 has made its way into EpiK DrumS - Ken Scott Collection and Neil Peart as well as upcoming titles with Hugh Padgham and other interesting Drum Masters-related collections. In fact, we're nearing completion of Drum Masters 2 Multitrack and the new Platinum Edition which now includes pretty much ALL of the previous Drum Kit/Groove, Multitrack/Stereo kits and grooves prior to EpiK. I will give you the list shortly and make the pre-order available even this weekend while more info and the demos are added to it (starting Monday).

So, the idea here is simply this. We have this and for the rest of the month (ONLY) we have the first Ultimate Studio Bundle available with a TON of kits at an extremely affordable price along with the free plug-in to play it. An Infinite Player that is an expandable Sonic Reality library within Kontakt Player 4 (or full if you have it). This is something for EVERYBODY regardless of your budget. You can now afford to take advantage of what has taken us YEARS (seriously about 6 years of development for this... the Gottlieb sessions were in 2004!).

That's to get everyone's attention. Out of all the people that buy it not EVERYONE is on the tightest budget so we have upgrades to Ocean Way Drums Silver and Gold, EpiK DrumS - A Ken Scott Collection, Drum Masters 2 Multitrack or Platinum HD or even a bundle of both Drum Masters Platinum and EpiK DrumS on ONE 500 GB HD! All of those are coming for pre-order with a coupon code for people who were in this or the previous Group Buy! (saving the FULL price of this group buy toward that product or better). To top it off it is looking like we're going to be able to release Neil Peart Drums Vol. 1 The Kit by April so we might as well give all people that join this Group Buy a discount on that too!

So to answer your question... we only make money if people love this so much they upgrade. Fortunately a lot of people love it! But, whether it is pre-ordering with coupons or ordering like mad when the products ship I think that in th elong run it is all worth it and everyone is happy. It's risky but that's life. Risk reward. Otherwise, I can look for a government grant to turn our studio into a museum and become a sample charity. ;)

Yep, I'm on it. The esoundz page will be updated.

I was intending it to be that EVERYONE gets their choice of Infinite Player or a free Multitrack kit but that only the first 300 people get the second one but... so as to avoid confusion and not leave anyone out we'll do this:

EVERYONE in the Group Buy will get their choice of TWO Multitrack kits or they can choose INFINITE PLAYER (if they don't already have it) and ONE Multitrack kit. That is how the redeem code will work with a multiple choice and they download it from DownloadableSoundz.com like last time.

However, the first 300 (instead of 200) will enter into a drawing and 5 lucky people will win one of the following prizes:

1. One of Neil Peart's Drum sticks used in the sample session.

2. A Drum Head signed by Danny Gottlieb

3. A Drum Head signed by one of the EpiK Drummers of the Ken Scott Collection (Rod Morgenstein, Terry Bozzio or Billy Cobham - not sure which yet)

4. Danny Gottlieb's played and beaten Drum Stick

5. An EpiK DrumS poster signed by Ken Scott

Plus, all 5 winners will get a bonus Sonic Reality t-shirt with whatever we have in your size (could be an SR shirt, a Studio ProFiles shirt, an Infinite Player shirt or a Sonik Elementz shirt which is our company band and has the names of the artists we jammed with on stage in 2005 such as the guys from Earth Wind & Fire, Yes and more.)

Anyway I think that is the bestest and easiest way to proceed. I will update the pages now!

Thanks, Squids. For 99 dollars, very very nice... :)
