Demo mp3 sounds good, but I can't help but think, it sounds plenty like G2 , the lead bits in anyway? Am I the only one that thinks this (sounds really nice though... then again, I shudder to think what the price might be)?

If you mean the cost of it.
I just saw in the KVR data base $119usd...or was that $129.
I'll take another look.
Maybe you mean cpu though?
Edit: Oh it says TBA now.
While just the other day it had a price there.

I feeled same way. I dont see it as a problem though. Gladiator is one of my fafourite instruments so I just hope that this one brings something new in to a soupe.

Ye ye, of course. I got a couple of markus' creations (G2 IS a meaty beast!), and they always seem to find their way into my productions, so it definitely can't be bad

for my personal taste it has a slightly more fatter basic sound than Gladiator2. But this is only my opinion. Let's see, if it can prove it in the demo...

Have to say this does sound good. The top end on Gladiator was kind of funky, but this sounds nice and open. When is it available?
