Arturia cross grade offer for $99 to get V Collection. I only own Jup 8V, SEM V, and Arp 2600V. Seems like a no brainer, but I'm not really sure I want/need any of their other plugs?

Eurocrack: I bought a power supply last night and have started shopping around for some eurorack modules for building my first fully modular synth.

Luckily I'm broke or I would have jumped on it, though I completely do not need it.
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

I now have the means to upgrade to Arturia V4, but do I dare deploy them ? :scared:

Now I'm broke! Just when I though I had a plan to not buy anything till I buy the 8" monitors, I received that "Wiper" email from Artutia to upgrade for $99 (I have SEM V and Arp 2600v) that wiped what remained in my account. Who can resist such a bargain?

Now I feel so clean (money is dirty after all) :hihi:
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

So I could not withstand the animal urge inside to upgrade to v4

All in all I think I have spent just about €130 to get the licenses I used to upgrade for €69

So that evens out with the price for buyers buying straight-no upgrade now at €200

So can't complain then :)

Today I felt some GAS and bought the VST/ReWire support for Studio One v3 Artist. It is with a good price (if you get the Artist bundled with their hardware or cheap from the market place). I felt also some nostalgia to use S1 although it wasn't long time since I switched to another host :hihi:

For VST instrumenst and effects, I really don't have any GAS and I think I will stay like this for a long time ( yeh, right!).
The last instruments I bought was Waldorf Largo and the last update was ARP2600 V3 and SEM V2. Nothing else :D
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

After a few years of holding steady at 45U, I've started expanding my modular with some more recent modules. So far I've picked up a West Oakland Skipmin, Mutable Instruments Clouds, 4ms Dual Looping Delay, and a Mikrophonie. Still need to get another case for these modules.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

I'm in a similar boat...

After Superbooth I decided to revisit my modular synth. So I went to Schneidersladen - which I knew was dangerous. Ordered the new Frap Tools UNO case and took the Vermona desktop one with the row of tiles. Bought "some" extra modules to fill them up after I transferred what I liked from my existing cases. Also ordered a Make Noise system, for sake of completeness.

Then I discovered Modular Grid. After some experimentation I found out that a little re-order and a few more modules would improve both systems in remarkable ways. Where's this gonna end?

At least, I'm positive I'm done buying vintage synths.

GAS is like a psychological trick your mind plays with you. When a new "revolutionary" plugin comes out every now and then you convince yourself that you need it in order to sound like the professionals. But great music has been made in the past without this new gear, so your logic quickly evaporates.

I have saved myself from making many unneccesary purchases by asking myself: "What does this give me that my other plugins cannot give me and if it adds something new, is it relevant to my workflow or genre? Some plugins are absolutely phenomenal for what they do but if we don´t take the time to answer this question before buying they will often only collect dust.

It´s more or less impossible to be productive when we constantly search for the next new thing or the best deal.
