Cheers Scorb!

Dave is wrestling with it now; he's fine in C++ but KVR is maybe a technology too far!!

Is it OK to say that the "110" type is, like, DIVINE ?! :-o

"Knocking on heaven's door" ?...

"Open The Flood gates Of Heaven Let It Rain" ?...

WOW

BTW, this EQ BEGS for user contributed MODs (EQ filter types + interface settings)... and as MODs can be saved as simple presets...

... BRING THEM ON !! :wheee: (this is intended for everyone. hell, if people can contribute at the Valhalla threads, I say : why not here ?... :tu:)
Professional technicians are assessed by the abilities they possess.
Amateur technicians are assessed by the tools they possess - and the amount of those tools, with an obvious preference to the latest hyped ones.

Wait till he'll get acquainted with KvR++

I was reading through the manual to understand the features of this EQ as I was impressed by it's inovative approach, but at the time without the intention of buying.

But have I understood the following correctly that models such as the 550, the Q will automatically change proportional to the gain increase, like the real thing?

The reason I'm asking is I've really liked using the SPL Free Ranger as the workflow really appealed to me (i.e. quick and idiot proof!) with the fixed bands, automatic Q and overall gain control in a simple layout. I find it's really hepling me to get to grips with EQ'ing in general. I was considring buying the full version. But now I'm wondering that perhaps this could fullfil that role (and of course many others too!) if my understanding is correct.

cheers

Trying to get my head around this too. I'm continually tempted by the SPL EQ Rangers so I'm thinking too about how it would be best to set up Equilibrium to replace them.

lol, so I'm not the only one then!

It seems to have been added to the data base as of today:

I guess it will be put on the front page with the next batch of plugins.

Yes, you've got it - gain/Q interaction has been modelled.

FR: May I also request a WYSIWYG analyzer. When using the lower impulse lengths, I don't get the true representation of the actual curves.

Ok, wow! So i guess it should be even possible to setup a preset which has the frequency bands of the 550 pre set.
Do each of the bands of the hw 550 react the same or have u had to model different ones for some of the freq bands?

We spent all day in Cubase 7 64 bit VST3 today; and it was interesting. Think Dave's got the popping bug! I'll check out the LPF button a bit more in a minute, but I think he's dealt with a range of popping issues in one. We think this might of dealt with similar issues on a number of similar platforms.

If anybody get crazy gui stuff in C7 64bit, make sure you're on the latest version of C7! (7.0.3)
Great! Played a little more with it today and sounds amazing. Very flexible and innovative.
And once againg, stunning GUI Krzysztof: I love your work.

Yes, I think I saw a preset like this - check the demo! If not, it's not going to take you long to make one.

The shelves and peaks are modelled with their respective interactions.

Aww, thanks man, I loved making it! It's taught me a lot and I've more to learn from it - like a good track.

Drop Dave a mail and ask him for the 1.02 candidate because you've got the popping bug. Give that a whirl, see if it fixes your issues - it's all looking good here, but that's not a guarantee of success for all!

If anyone has a bug at the moment that hasn't been addressed, e-mail Dave now! He is oiled and poised for action! :)
