You have to run Ableton Live with administrative rights the first time before you use the plugin (it needs to be able to extract some SE module files to your HD the first time it loads)

Right click on Ableton Live icon and select "Run as Administrator"

the very very little difference is only because i forget tune the decay pot, to the original TB.... now i have the 99.9% version but dont need to upload it again ithink.... so VB 303 simple ROX!!!!!

I can't hear the difference.
To me VB303 is TB303.

Antto, this is awesome.

I've mapped all (except the temp) knobs to my Maschine and I have a little LPK25 that is perfect for programming the sequences.

I'm also using ZoomIt from Sysinternals to zoom the screen on Windows to make distance from my screen easier.

However, the down side is nothing happens when I hit "Run" after keying in a sequence, and worse, when I try to save a pattern it gives me a file IO error. The file is still created, but it will be 0 bytes.

I'm using windows 8, maybe thats the problem?

i suppose you're in Host Sync mode
then indeed the RUN/STOP button doesn't work, because this is a slave-mode
to make the sequencer run - hold down any midi note on the "Trigger" channel
if you're going to use this to render (offline) then add 1 empty bar in the beginning of your track in the DAW, because the sequencer cannot start immediately after reboot

as for pattern saving - hm.. what format?

I already thought they sound nearly identical but as you can see also their waveforms match (in a broader term...no 1:1 copy but they share exactly the same similarities).

I am really really impressed.

Ah, I thought it only synced the tempo. Okay I'll play with it and report back.

I was trying to save to the .303 format. I even ran my DAW with admin permissions to see if that was the problem. The disk isn't full or anything, and nothing else complains.
