Drop downs are not working not working in Firefox 24. Work in Chrome and Safari.
(not that I ever use Safari...)

Props, I would like also to see an option in the dropdown for REs "on sale" and a "price Low to High / High to Low"
Then update it? Works fine on version 25

There are no "salesmen".. when you walk into Walmart you go over to the section that has what you want and then take it to one of cashiers at the front. If you can't find it then you look at one of signs hanging from the ceiling or ask someone who works there where it is. You don't go to customer service and bitch that they need to get rid of all that other stuff you don't want at the moment. C'mon now.
Ok, you're excused.

I can see what the problem is now. It's simply a cultural thing I guess. I have the good fortune to live in a part of the world where it is still possible to walk into a shop and get good service and easily find what you went in for without being pressured to BUY BUY BUY! all the the other stuff you don't want or have any need for. Old fashioned I guess, but I kind of like it.

BTW you'll notice that I very carefully wrote sales"person" rather than "salesman". Another cultural oddity... :hihi:
Nah, just some politically correct wanking ;) I doubt there are any women on this board to fall in love with you anyways. I don't think there's any pressuring going on, unless you have GAS and can't resist a bit of front page advertisement. If that's the case then I'm not sure how you deal with the ads plastered all over KVR.. and in the forums, no less.
Well, you've got me there! Of course the only Reason I,m here at all is cos the Props forum is down and I'm still feeling miffed about it. for the Record I love Reason and Propellorheads, but I don't think they've done themselves any favours the way they've gone about this.

...and WHERE are all the women on this forum???
Well, the gals generally don't enjoy the nitty gritty of music production I guess. Although there are lots of big knobs to twiddle so you think there'd be more interest, eh?

There was no forum to put this in the right place so I ask here to my Fam the Reason users :D

so I whant to buy a pair of KRK(RP 6 MK II)

I whant to use them with my presonus audiobox USB

Up to here I can make it work I guess but then how do you hook up them two speakers to that presonus and add to this a Sub 10s ???

where do you plug what :o ?

I dont see a sub output on the presonus ?

I cannot mix anymore with out speakers and I cant wait to provide my Reason a pair of ears :D

PS : if you are on a budget like me KRK got there 3rd gen of speakers out so 2nd gen is on sales everywhere .

Re: Reason is a toy was a silly response by me from the post: the Black Knight Re looks like it was "built by kids for kids". Nothing more. Nothing less.
What a surprise to see the responses after that! Reason is an amazing program. I'd be happy if the current version is all I could use for the rest of my life...

I don't know why people take and defend software so seriously.

Do you stick up for for other - more important - life issues with as much passion?

I hope so.
15 different distortion algorthims and multiband for $39 is overpriced?
A lot of these guys want to pay $10 for every RE. smh

Anyway DQ a dynamic processor is in the shop

i have just one question for the Reason faithful... will all updates of the SDK be tired to the Reason updates... in other words would have i to be current with the Reason version if a new SDK comes out? better yet... will there be a cost when the new SDK(s) are developed...

just curious... how would that work?

Post

As far as Im aware any sdk tweaks, RE performance stuff has come as minor updates to reason and are free.
I'm guessing any major advances in REs will either come as a free update but more likely to be bundled into and upgrade, say from R7 to R8 which along with other advances of the program you will pay an upgrade price for.

My guess is Propellerheads will tie an SDK update to a Reason update for maximum dollars. But there will also need to be some sort of flagship product to usher in the new SDK, and it's got to be a big enough deal to get most users to act on it.

A new sampler, perhaps? With a few libraries available at launch......sold separately, of course.

Hang onto your wallet; I think we're in for a bumpy ride.

I don't get that one at all.

I can't test it, but if the crossovers are any good, it would be much better than the $100 fxpansion maul!
Some people buy with their eyes. This GUI looks ugly, like freeware, made without any effort and with free font found in internet ("Defused" font in Mutagen) - what, 39 euro?
Look at this:

or this

Remember, this is not VST - you can't sell it away, even when you sell your Reason copy.

Can anyone remember the date the forum went down?

I am aware that they sell stuff everytime I walk into a shop, but I dont appretiate it when a salesperson approaches me and atempts to sell me something I have no interest in, and it's difficult to locate and buy the product that I did walk in to buy. What part of that simple concept are you having difficulty understanding?

SampleSimon met a pieman
Going to teh fair
Said SampleSimon to the pieman
Let me taste your ware

Would you really not prefer to buy a custard tart instead..

You see it just doesn't scan....
I didn't mean any harm. It just struck me a little funny at the time. :) Many of us PUFers are over at the two most busy Prop spots on Facebook: Reasonistas and the Rack Extensionists group. All the latest news, RE announcements, beta signups, and opinion threads are happening over there. Feel free to join us.
No worries, I wasn't too seriously offended, and my reply was just a kneejerk reaction, hopefully with a bit of humour thrown in. :) Thanks for the headsup on those sites, I'll check them out.

The good thing about Propellerhead is that you really do get to taste their wares before handing over your penny. I've always felt that the try for a month concept with no restrictions is extremely generous!

Maybe they dont go for virtual knobs and prefer the real thing? Or more likely, they are too busy actually making music... :hihi:
