Is it possible to use Avenger wavetables in other synths (Serum, for example)? Or does it use some sort of proprietary format?

proprietary format

Any chance you would contemplate a Linux version form the line?

UI suggestion:

- can you please make the modulation matrix area bigger and more accessible ?

some comments

- the preset section (content area), where Arps, Bass, Lead, etc are listed, ... the labels don't look good, especially the font, and the label+abbreviation ie: BA/Bass , DR/Drums, makes it look unnecessarily cluttered and messy

- the area in the center, where the most of the functionality is located both the Osc section, and Editor/Arp/SEQ , I believe it helps if you can please make it "Wider"; in general because horizontal real-estate is not as scarce, would help if you can make the UI wider so that things don't look cramped in the center-area where most of the workflow is located

I know the UI design think is subjective and I am not by any means an expert, but wanted to share some opinions.

I love this great synth, an impressive workstation type synth that is deep and fun!

So I've got a problem. I just downloaded the R2 factory content (4.5GB). To be safe and avoid any file conflicts etc, I decided to delete the old factory content as I assumed this one contained all the old content as well as the revised content. I am still under that impression, however when importing it, only about a quarter of the content is actually extracted and on the disk. The import process ends successfully, but much of the content is missing. Prior to deletion, the factory content was ~5000 files at ~4.5GB, but now the same Factory.avxp directory reads ~1500 files at only ~500MB. Something seems wrong with the import process. I've tried redownloading the file and reimporting, but I get the same result. There used to be a *.license file in the Factory.avxp directory, which may or may not be related to my problem, but since I deleted the folder, that file no longer exists. The synth is still licensed though.

As a side note, just like Avenger offers notifications when an update is available, maybe it should also notify for things such as revisions to factory content? I would not have discovered this fact unless visiting the KVR forums. Another small issue I had was actually finding the content download: it's found under the "Try demo" section of the site, rather than "Downloads" which is a bit confusing since I'm an owner of the software. It didn't make sense for me to click the "Try demo" link, but that's where I found the factory content I was after. And finally, I'm highly looking forward to the granular synthesis update!

are you guys familiar with the designer @ plugmon.org ?
he has done awesome skins for u-he synths, complete workflow re-design not just basic cosmetic changes, truly impressive designs, maybe we can commission him for a skin design? what do you think? please check out his work. I am saying this because thanks to Awesomeness of Vengeance it is skinnable , so wanted to recommend this great designer.

It sounds like a great idea, but with Vengeance-Sound having recently paid for a SatyaTunes skin, I'm not sure how likely they'd want to commision another skin right now. I've also seen the Plugmon skins and think they'd do a fantastic job if given the incentive to. Definitley worth keeping these guys in mind. I'd love to see their take on Avenger's look as the two skins included as of right now, are good, just not great.

something is wrong then, you should re-download your file. It should be around 4,5gb, not 500mb

I've already tried downloading the file twice and both times they had the same MD5 hash, so they are identical. Just to be clear, the files I have downloaded are 4.5GB in size, it's just when I try importing them into Avenger, the content that Avenger imports is only 500MB (size of Factory.avxp dir). Many presets therefore cannot find the needed samples etc. I can try downloading the content file for a third time and do it again. If it doesn't work, I am not sure what to do.

Edit: I downloaded the content and tried importing it once again but the problem remains. I restarted my computer before trying again, but it made no difference. Tried it in two different DAWs, no difference. Still only ~500MB of factory content gets extracted to disk on import. It leads me to believe there is an issue with the import process. What else could I try to get it working? Is there a link to the original Avenger content download available?

Edit: Here is a GIF of what I'm encountering. Avenger v1.1.2.

Edit: Problem solved! I reinstalled Avenger and reimported the content file with success. All 4.5GBs are on my disk now. Even the old content file downloads work fine so it seems it was some issue with Avenger, no idea what though.

seems like you had an old version. This bug was there for a short time in an old version. Meanwhile this problem is fixed and should not occur with the recent versions

IF it's just an update (500MB) to the content, you need the original content (4.5GB).

Disclaimer: I don't have Avenger... (not yet)
I might be wrong.
