It's taking about 2.2% cpu per instance on my mac mini 1.8 GHz core 2 duo, and this is with extreme settings and everything on that can take more cpu.

And to get back on topic, if you're looking for some other compressors for future product ideas, consider the Thermionic Culture Phoenix and the API 2500, which are both very very highly rated.

how much latency does it set in samples?

i like how it keeps the original transients so im thinking to use it
on each channel
