Nope, the license is stored in My Documents/TeamDNR. You can either move it there manually or just install the x86 version and authorise that one (and eventually remove it, if unused).filkertom wrote:I actually copied it there, figuring having it in both places would not hurt anything. Still didn't work. Do I have to move the license directly into that folder?Amon1973 wrote:You're not doing anything wrong. Assuming you're talking about the x64 version, it fails because the data folder is not where it's supposed to be. Take a look at your HD's directory: you should have the usual Program Files and Program Files (x86) folders - now, you'll also find another folder named something like "Program Files (x86)x64" containing only a sub-folder named TeamDNR. Move this folder to your default Program Files folder and try authorising again.filkertom wrote:Actually, I realized that I hadn't imported the license file. But when I tried to do so, it said, "Registration failed". So I don't know what to think. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Aaaaand that seems to have taken care of both problems -- it's successfully registered, and the GUI is staying put.DNR Collaborative wrote:I think maybe it's 2 separate issues that are occuring. Of course, now I have eight versions of MixControl to sort through....

Let me know if you still need beta testers to test on Win-x64 using any combination of FLStudio 10, Reaper, and SONAR XP1!

Do you already have an account on the DNR website, or was a license file just sent off to you? If you already have an account, it will be added automatically.whet wrote:Hello, i won mixcontrol in a giveaway some months ago, will there be a way to update for me ?

This I appreciate very much! Thank you.DNR Collaborative wrote:MixControl Pro is free for you (...)
Somehow the user interface of the first version of Mixcontrol made me use it less than I expected, even though the underlying audio-processing is excellent. The new interface is just very appealing.
The more I hang around at KVR the less music I make.

It crashes AU validation, and causes the Auvaltool to quit unexpectedly. Hoping for a fix for this in MCPro, since Logic is my main DAW.
I would also like to sign up for beta testing on an iMac running 10.6.6, with Logic Pro and Ableton Suite 8.2.2, though uve specifically mentioned you're looking for Win7 x64 Beta Testers.
And just to re-iterate: anyone sending in e-mails for beta-testing, you will receive an e-mail from our beta system in the next few days with information on downloading and testing the new beta of MixControl Pro. We have 2 new team members who will be working at logging and communicating errors and fixes between users, so the beta-testing should go very smoothly
Steven
I contacted support twice about my problem with AU Validation, but did not hear from them.
Also, I have two macs running, one is a Macbookpro mid 2008, and the other is an iMac late 2010. Both are running Snow Leopard 10.6.6, though I had this problem initially when I was on 10.6.5. I have tried using Mixcontrol on both computers, and have encountered the same problem with AU Validation in both cases, on one machine with Logic Pro 9.1.3 and on the other with 9.1.4. However, It runs without any problems on Ableton Live 8.2.2, and once Logic Pro is launched, it appears to work fine within that too.
So, if there is a conflict, then it exists on both machines. I think this is unlikely, but it is possible. I have tried contacting support before, so I would really appreciate any help in troubleshooting the problem and finding the source of apparent conflict. Maybe the log generated when the auvaltool crashes could be helpful, and I could send this over. The validation test fails at the Render Tests stage, at "Render Test at 512 Frames".
And will just send an email for beta testing, thanks.

While I think this request is a useful one, we're already into the build/test phase of the development, so all other user requests and features will be considered for an update release. Testing to make sure the new FFT, oversampling and individual saturation modes alone may take a bit of time so we'll add this one to the list of user submissionsvaisnava wrote:I hate to suggest it so far along the development, but I just noticed that there is a saturation feature. It would be nice to have it multi-banded, so u could add Low, Mid, High Saturation.
Sometimes it is nice to add a little sheen over some frequencies, not all.

Hey Steven:
I loved the proposed changes to the GUI many pages back. But the latest large and small GUI's are so awesome! Absolutely beautiful!
Great work!
Thanks.

A quick question, that I've seen before but never found answered: why is external sidechaining supported in 32bit VST3 only? It can't really be a technical limitation, b/c I've used VST2 compressors with external sidechaining before. Are there plans to add external sidechaining to other plugin versions as well?
Have fun,
Andre

Hi Andre, I've sent in a request to get a proper explanation from the developer and I'll get back to you shortly with the information.paterpeter wrote:A quick question, that I've seen before but never found answered: why is external sidechaining supported in 32bit VST3 only?
