I'd say before it gets more mod slots, it should at least allow the mod amount sliders to be automatable. Currently they are not seen by a DAW. It's also missing a bunch of other stuff still, like the unison stuff and about half the menu lists (which is good to be host visible for control surfaces).Sendy wrote:The only thing this synth needs now is more mod matrix slots

I usually assign a second source (black) like mod wheel to the destination (purple) and use MIDI CC automation. It's still a bit limited but enough for most purposes in my opinion.Echoes in the Attic wrote:I'd say before it gets more mod slots, it should at least allow the mod amount sliders to be automatable.

Yeah but I don't just mean for automation purposes I mean for hardware control. Pretty much every hardware control surface these days uses parameter IDs. Such as the new Akai hardware controllers, or the Nektar Panoramas, or Novation Automap, or Maschine (Kore before that), or Ableton with Push or any other controllers, or Bitwig with Push or any other controllers or just about any scripted control surface for most DAWs. All control surfaces rely on parameter IDs which are the ID exposed to the plug-in host.George wrote:I usually assign a second source (black) like mod wheel to the destination (purple) and use MIDI CC automation. I've always wondered - Is it that hard to just make a control visible for the host? Like how the filter knob can be seen by the host. Can you not do the same to the unison knob or mod sliders the same thing and just give it a host ID as well? Or like LFO shape list is a control that can be seen by the host. Can you not do the same for the mod source or mod target list? I don't totally see why so many parameters are seen in Corona but then a bunch aren't.

Yeah you've got a good point there.Echoes in the Attic wrote:Yeah but I don't just mean for automation purposes I mean for hardware control. Pretty much every hardware control surface these days uses parameter IDs.
It does not seem hard, but parameter list has been limited by design since the beginning. I also hope we can bring more parameter control on future revisions.I've always wondered - Is it that hard to just make a control visible for the host? I would certainly enjoy a few more mod slots.. I do love the synth as it is though.

Great synth. Super sound and easy for cpu. Few things though that would be nice. Leakage would be nice to have as mod destination, unison could use at least double the voices (from 4 to
and layers like discovery has. Nothing essential (well maybe those unisons) but would be sugar on top the cake

It's just a silly technical detail. It can fixed and I'm planning to do it later.Echoes in the Attic wrote: I've always wondered - Is it that hard to just make a control visible for the host? This is Corona we're talking about.

Yes I know but I thought you were the developer. I assumed oskari was talking about something else. Didn't realize he was part of the corona development, if that's what he means.George wrote:This is Corona we're talking about.

Of course he is! Check jeskola.net forums to see how Qsamo, a Buzz plug-in, eventually evolved into Corona years ago.Echoes in the Attic wrote:Yes I know but I thought you were the developer. Sorry for the delay, transfers usually take less than 24 hours after payment confirmation.

What would be the point in adding layers? I think Corona and Discovery are already competing with each other in terms of customers. So why make them even more similar?Lejurai wrote:Great synth. Basically it would just make things easier when layering sounds that run at the same time. And IMO those 2 sound different in the name of "VA + wavetable vs. pure digital". Great functionality that I'd like to see in both synths. And now that I started talking, Coronas arp would be nice in Discovery
