You may wish to get Lotuzia to put that link in the first post of the thread. Important posts like that tend to get buried fast. Just a suggestion! Carry onxavier wrote:For those who lost their 0.9.2 version and get this issue, I setup the archive download web page

Brill, glad to help.
Theres a tiny bug I reported a couple days back but think it was missed - both osc 2 freq and osc2 shape are not in their centre positions in the init patch.
Osc 2 is -0.018 and osc 2 shape is 49.850 .
Also a bug I noticed -
If aftertouch is set as the source, and amp envelope attack or release is set as the destination, aftertouch isnt modulating the values to their full amount even when set to maximum. Only very very slightly.
Example -
If you set mod wheel as source, and amp env attack as destination, set it to maximum you will get a noticeable effects.
If you set aftertouch/pressure to do the same, theres hardly any.

Hi. If you notice, that init patch that loads first is "Init 2 Saw Flt". That tells me it's not completely void of programming. However, if you click on the black menu select button (upper-left corner) and set this to Type of patch then all the Init patches are shown in the resulting menu and you will see an "Init 1 Saw" patch that does not use the slight detune and shape offsets. I usually start with that one. I agree that the first loaded patch should be void of any programming with everything at default value. Convenient at leastjumpercable wrote:Brill, glad to help.

Waters are flowing : Love streams.snigelx wrote:Thanks Xavier! Are we still good for an official release at the end of the week? Just checking the waters. No pressure
This said expect now more on July 21rst.
The preset test Team is working hard to rate the best patches atm : This will be extremely difficult imo, because I must say that I'm really amazed by the quality of the patches sofar.
I just listend to a "JV2080 Brass" patch made by my friend Tzadi, and wow what is really impressive is that you can achieve some kind of patches usually only associated to romplers huge sounds and stacks with Oxium. I just added a spacious reverb on it and instant BIG sound impression.
A good opportunity for me to express my personal hats off to the Sound Design Team :
Mr Aiyn Zahev, Ingo Weidner, Kelvin Ford, McNoone, Nori Ubukata, Simon Ball, Stephen Wey, Tzadi, and the very mysterious XO.
( There's still another member in the SD Team but I can't thank him for good reasons

Can I just add how much I love this synth! Theres something about it - it has this sort of hyper-real, vivid sound to it. Its hard to describe.
The combined filter sections allow for this sort of "open" sound. Even when rolling the filter lower, it keeps that distinct presence, warming up without getting muddy. Theres this "modern" sound to it while retaining vintage characteristics and a bit of quirk!
The oscillators have this sort of.. string quality to them...? Not in some cheesy string emulation way, but just how almost natural each of the waveforms sound and respond. But thats probably just my own way of perceiving things.

no, it's not your way, i feel the same with very good virtual synth or with analogue synth.jumpercable wrote:Can I just add how much I love this synth! Theres something about it - it has this sort of hyper-real, vivid sound to it. Its hard to describe.

i discovered it the first time i listened to my oberheim matrix 1000 : hyper-real, vivid sound, i called differently though : natural reverb

Ah, nice to hear of the progression of the Love Streams. So only thing left is to sort patches? Excellent, although I'm having a hard time going completely through the initial presets because I can't keep my hands off her knobs when I open it up.Lotuzia wrote:Waters are flowing : Love streams.snigelx wrote:Thanks Xavier! A request: Global tuning/pitch - As it stands it extends a mere single Oct in either direction. Can we get -36 and +36 semi at some point?
@Jumpercable - I *think* the behavior is due in part to the linear Exp (Ch.pressure) source is trying to modulate an exponentially ranged Env stage (notice the concavity of the Envs response, how the first part of the range is broader increments and then twisting the knobs to the right begin to increase exponentially until the very end where there is very fine adjustment b/t say 50000ms to 150000ms) - It's like this in a lot of HW as well. The stages would have to be linear in order for full Pressure to mod that destination to 100% of it's total potential.
Cheers!
