Cypher (DCAM: Synth Squad) Cypher2

No, he was being a spoiled child. That's the last I'm going to say about it and I suggest you do too.
I have great respect for your opinions but I'm not with you this time.

With regard to Cypher 2.
I'm discovering the synth now (just played a bit with the demo before) and it sounds great.
I think we should be gratefull that we can play with these synths at that price.

Have a great evening.

Few doesn't meant 3 as u pulled out of ur ass. A week is well within few days. Angus will fix it when he gets back. He doesn't owe the poster cutting short his vacay cause the few didn't satisfy his few.

The guy wasn't rude or demanding at all... then you went ballistic and acted like an asshole to him... and now you cannot just admit that because you have too big an ego and so you focus on the meaning of few. You should apologize to the guy.

Myself and others did see it as rude and/or demanding. that you don't, doesn't mean crap..

This does not sound benign and non demanding to me at all. It didn't then and doesn't now:

The second one:
I know he's taking some time off, it's just been almost a week.
That to me is where it sounds entitled....like enough time off already, its been a week, drop what you doing and get back to fix it......
how do you see it?

The third one:
If you want to keep getting weird about this Angus himself said "I'm taking a few days out to recharge...".
Further reinforces to me, the you said a few days, its been a week....go fix it now..

so I really am curious to know how you interpreted what he said.

Holy moly, zvenx. Common English usage of few is often 3. Yes, it can be otherwise, but the term some is generally considered a better term when you don't want to imply the quantity 3. Another company representative could also have been assigned to offer some official feedback in this thread, you know.

The swearing and name calling from zvenx and Stefken over an innocuous consumer comment doesn't seem appropriate to me. I'll report the posts to the KVR mods and let them decide. It's not good for FXpansion to have this kind of conduct in their official product thread. I can't imagine that repeated accusations of being a "spoiled child" here are within KVR rules.

Here was his original post... please show what about this is acting like a spoiled child. You can't cause you are wrong. And immediately after this post someone jumped on him needlessly.

That is completely benign... an entirely 100% reasonable adult comment.

Not because you say it is so, means it is indeed so.
We (myself, stefken and others who have contacted me privately) interpreted differently, I was not the only one, which was why I said many hours ago we will agree to disagree..

Anyway as KingTuck has quite rightly pointed out this is indeed an official launch of Cypher2, I have said all I have had to say on this specific topic.

I don't think FXpansion want their customers to be getting flamed in response to bug reports and simple consumer feedback. I've reported the offending posts and will do so for any future ones as well.

@px, a few of us didn't and don't read it as benign.. Oh God of all knowledge..

I think the upgrade price (which is what I'd be paying) is 20% off through the first week of September. I'm a bit nervous only because they aren't officially supporting Win7. Though it runs just fine on my system, I'd want to be sure that the updated, non-leaky version continues to work.

oh I didn't see any notification of that....let me recheck, but indeed if this is the case indeed I would imagine/hope that Roli/Fxpansion/Roli would extend that time frame.

Curious to see where you saw the first week of September.
thanks

Good... zvenx was way off the deep end and treated you badly...

I'm also going to contact Angus about this and let him tell me if this kind of conduct is appropriate from an official beta tester, who likely didn't pay for his license as compensation for the beta feedback. I've worked with multiple plugin companies in various freelance roles, and this just isn't normal by my estimation.

I might be in the minority here but I'm a big fan of the GUI. I think it looks sleek and modern. The preset bank is also top notch. I don't have an MPE controller to see how that works with it. :)

Indeed do so. No problem.

I think it is hard to put the features it has in a GUI that everyone will like. It is a tweakers dream in my opinion. And indeed the final GUI is much better than earlier ones that thankfully never became public.

I was not a fan of the original SS1 factory banks, but I really love these presets.

Plugin Boutique is usually pretty good about listing sale dates (which are more or less the same across all third-party retailers), so I'll go to their deals page if I want to see how long an offer is running.

I'm curious whether the GUI can be skinned?
(Now or in an upcoming release)

Not a big fan of the gui, so i'd like to customise it.
