Because there is no resemblance with a sid chip whatsoever?
I just think it's a typo , unless it's going over my head and I don't get the joke .

There are plenty of other more feature filled alternatives if Reason doesn't cut it for you. Yes, there are things I'd like to see implemented but I've learned by now that if I don't like Reason now that it's very likely I wouldn't like the next update or the one after that, etc.
Vertical drag zooming has nothing to do with the intention of being a daw-daw ., it's simply a great feature to navigate in XY space .

They are. But for me, that is not enough to make me want to upgrade.
Same here. This update is more on the DAW side. But since DAW improvements have been long awaited, that's ok with me. For me, RRP is good as it is.

For 60 bucks or so why not? Do we have any idea of the price ?

The regular update price is 199 euros. Intro sale, going from past intro sales, might be around 129 euros.

I got an email that I'm entered into the public-beta, like, four days before the release date :dog:

I'm not even going to install the beta

I wouldn't mind an introduction price of anything less than 199

Probably cheaper to subscribe just until the inevitable 50% off BF sale, only a few months needed!

I don't see the point of that, by the time BF comes you will have paid the difference in price already on the sub. To me there is nothing compelling me to buy the upgrade straight away so I'll just wait till there is an acceptable offer.

You can download all the pre-set packs (and keep them) and play with instruments you don't own, I think the poster was probably going to buy it strait away, so this may not cost more and has some advantages...

Personally I wont be updating at all (unless its under 50 bucks) as I only use it as a rack and don't really need another VA or delay.

Interesting - didn't know that - seems an odd loophole

Is it easy to unsubscribe and go back to the paid version though?

I think that’s the case (from memory), if you have a preset you can of course just resave it as a user preset…and I have definitely gone from the sub back to my 12…was t an issue. I think you can still try 1 month for a buck!
