why is your host better than tracktion?

Different experiences, of course. While T2 has been exceptionally stable for me for the most part, and I get songs done, my other host is constantly popping up with weird bugs or simple non-bug inconsistencies that makes creating a song virtually impossible for me. And despite my other host's numerous updates, it's a constant flux of bugs... one bug gets fixed but creates another... or old bugs get ignored for the sake of adding new features instead. Many releases does not equal bliss.
I've never had to use TapeIt, but if that turned out to be the only way to get a decent render (ie. if my setup, instruments, or whatever changes so that my renders aren't perfect anymore), that's a wee tiny trade-off for the sake of being able to work the way Tracktion lets me.

The Traction has the most effective user interface I have seen. It's a perfect conceptually. There're some bugs and certainly many things could be improved but forgetting "the bell and whistles" point of view it's great.
I have a licence for a Sonar2.x and I was trying to use it after longer period (and downloaded demo of 4.x as well). The way its gui works simply blows in a comparison to a vector based, smooth in a appearance Traction's gui.
It's such a shame that only other host what is using vectors is the Live. For me a vectors are far easier for an eyes.

I think I use Tapeit2 in every host now. Tracktion is really organized. One thing I hate about cubase is how many tracks open up for multi Vsts. And then printing MIDI goes to yet another track, and all of a sudden i have composed 3 parts in 3 multi timbrals, and I have like 24 tracks! kind of gets old.
Good point on freezing. I wish you could edit frozen tracks in tracktion!
