Another moral might be:jens wrote:[
In the end the free loops are pulled. Had he not bought BFD but used real drums instead the loops would not have been pulled.
and the moral of the story: PEOPLE DO NOT BUY BFD BECAUSE YOU CAN NOT USE IT AT FREE WILL!!! USE A REAL DRUMSET INSTEAD!!!
The next time someone on here wants to give away some stuff , maybe they wont be so forthcoming about every detail about how the sounds/loops,etc. were created.
I sure woudnt be. I feel sorry for the guy that started this thread.I woudnt blame him if he never posted another link to anything here again.
And if it's true that the license agreement for this BFD stuff restricts your ability to use the sounds in an end product, or any way you see fit short of reselling them, then I'll be looking at other products.
Enough is enough. We already have to deal with intrusive copy -protection, iLoks, USB dongles and flakey online registration tools with all this shit. When do we EVER get to feel that we actually BOUGHT and OWN this stuff instead of RENTING it? Why do I have to freak out if the slightest thing goes wrong with my computer that I'll lose a zillion authorizations and spend hours getting it all up and running again ?....
You know, so I can pretend that I OWN it?
(note to self -appointed arbiters of morality here-I didnt condone stealing/ripping off anything.OK ???)
