I urge you to think twice before "fixing" that time signature issue. User's relations to a DAW is like a marriage; no matter how many times you improve, your spouse will always find something to bitch about. My standard solution is to choose one point on which you will NEVER improve. This way YOU will control what to be bitched about while having the freedom to do what you want in all others areas. Just saying.

You also have Edward to think about. After so many years of dedicated stalking, you wouldn't leave him with no reason to stalk you, would you? That would surely kill him...literally. You have a responsibility here.

I don't know whether you are serious or not, but if you are, that's some pretty wicked logic. If IL weren't sure that it's a worthwhile addition to their software, and they weren't convinced that it fits into their concept, they wouldn't do it, as simple as that. Noone will suffer from having it in the software, because noone will be forced to use it.

As i wrote, IF you are serious, which isn't really obvious in many cases.

But why would one choose one point where one will never improve, unless it's a point where one doesn't want to improve anyway, and it just won't fit into your concept? I don't think any developers likes being bitched about, neither do i think they like being bitched about one specific point which the software lacks compared to other hosts. Neither do i think that any dev or company wants to control what is being bitched about. For what? See, even if there were so many people bitching about this particular point, maybe the typical customer doesn't bitch about it. I don't know what's happening on IL's own forums, or in the feedback they get from their customers. Maybe it isn't even that much of a fuss at all, and it's just made a fuss here, like all the "FL Studio is a toy" stuff. On the other hand, if they plan to implement it, it's obviously something they either want themselves, or feel like it's a good idea, because some of their customers want it. I don't think this is about bitching or not.

Well, from the forum, i get the idea that IL is testing a couple of ways to implement "real" Time Signature in FL Studio. As it seems, it isn't working the way it should a.t.m. (internal experimenting), but maybe we see this implemented sooner then we think.

I for one like the idea to be able to export MIDI with proper time signature changes, when needed/wanted. But it isn't necessary imho. The patterns can be anything i want them to be. It is flexible a.t.m. However, when working with other DAW's (collabs, or project exchanging), it would be nice to be able to have time signatures which can be changed on the flow in a project.
