Hmmm. Looks like it was changed back to something more...respectable. That's cool; I shouldn't be engaging in slander. I mean, this is a highly succesful and respected engineer. I doubt Ben wants that kind of thing advertised in perpetuity.

I have to agree on this one. I remember the unending pages of insults about this guy because of his business deal with the original developers. Not saying the name changes for plugs or pricing were good ideas (and we won't mention the...what is it?...oh yes...dongle), but he's pretty damn good at what he does as an engineer from what I've read.

Then again, personal attacks are sort of a KVR way of life, aint't they?

We're not talking about his "skills", we're talking about his actions as they relate to this particular topic (the elemental audio plugins).

Also, let me go on record now stating that, if I should EVER follow the patch mr nichols has followed, I would want you guys to talk the same shit about me...because in that case, I'd deserve it.

Yeah, I know this is totally juvenile. But this is not meant to be an "attack" on him, really; just taking the piss, as they say. Like Totc just said, it's about how the product line was mismanaged and turned into ugly, over-priced, dongled products. This would all be different if we didn't know that he has nothing to do with the development of them and that they didn't used to cost less and look better, etc, etc. I felt the way the product line has been handled deserves ridicule.

I'm sure he's a great guy and a fantastic engineer...blah blah blah, we've been through this already. Just joking around. Especially if you're reading this, Mr. Nichols. (love your work!)
