I hated the XY pad on my novation, I thought it would be sexy and super sensitive but no you have to press that thing damn hard and it seems to 'sweep' through from one end to the other at quite a slow pace if you want to quickly alternate from the extremes of 0 and 127, well you can't..

The lack of aftertouch on the keys was a farce of advertising too. They are fairly well built indeed, but I don't think it justifies the premium cost.
