From the ReFx site:

"This user has been banned because of his disruptive behaviour on other boards. This board is supposed to stay a clean and a friendly place. Insulting us, our work, support and motives somewhere else, then coming over here and playing Mr.Nice-guy doesn't fly with us."

P.S. It wasn't me. :hihi:

Post

haha they really check every user whether they are on other boards or not and stuff... PARANOIA at it's best hahaha

Post

Perhaps this has been mentioned before, but I can't help wondering if there may be another reason to move the reFX forum away from KVR; it would be vastly easier to create phantom users who can't say enough good about M.Kleps and Company ...

Post

I can't help but wonder that if all the threads were not tampered with, this topic would've died by now. Instead there are a bunch of users who are now wondering what is it about this particular VSTi that makes it off limits. I certainly wonder

Post

This thread is the old one - for some reason they (bluedad I'm guessing) moved the wrong one back from OT/HPC.

This is the latest thread : http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic ... c&start=15

Although, if you guys plan to continue talking shite - just keep it here. Sure you can throw your punches over there, just keep em above the belt please. ;)

Personally I get sick of all the hyperbole about censorship.

No you don't have a "right" to say anything you want wherever you want. If you do, then you accept the repercussions that may or may not come from it. Everyone has f***ing rights nowadays and absolutely no responsibilities to anyone.

It's a forum setup by somebody else, and that somebody else can run it how they want. If you don't like it, go somewhere else or whinge about it, but don't expect that you'll get what you want. ReFX also can't say what they want, and any actions etc that they take, they also accept the repercussions it may or may not have on them. I think they know they might lose some sales (or all the silly whinging here may actually increase publicity, and hence sales?)

Just grow up some of you.

The internet is not a world that owes you anything whatsoever.

You throw toys at ReFX and they can throw them back at you. Simple, obvious. You're right, their right.

....kvr is not a civil liberties forum... :)

...it is for promoting technology and making you buy it....

...of course if you attack its primary mission its going to delete threads and replys.

..some of you are naive people. There is no freedom or free speech anyhwere.

...so behave!!!! :) resume praising plugins and hosts, discussing how tools are going to make you compose better music, how you are happy to have spent $$ on this or that, and feeling the frustration of not having everything. Now that is kvr!!!

I wonder who they're referring to? Me? I was banned from reFX's site...what did I do? I think I didn't say anything but ask questions like "is there going to be a group-buy?" Or "any discount if I have their 'other' product?" type of question.

If that's the reason I was banned...I just don't get it. If they want to send me a message, they have my email address...they don't have to post a "private" message on their board to me when I have no access to it anymore. That also didn't make any sense at all.

Now I'm really starting to "question" their business practice. Or they just don't care...because losing "one" customer won't kill their beloved reFX? I really hope that's not what they're thinking.

"You said it yourself: it's clutter free.

Now I can also keep the haters and crack advertisers out."

If Mike has this believe about KVR, then I guess we should just let him have his own forum then.... Don't KVR get their "support" by advertisers?
