From the demo download page it says this:
DKS Pro demo 1.0 setup for VST/Windows. The demo produces some background noise and noise bursts from time to time. The demo has only one stereo output.

So it tells right there where you download the demo that there is background noise "and" noise bursts.
I don't get it in the full version here. So I am pretty sure you'll be fine once you purchase the full version.

Yes, Paul is right.
The noise is there just to prevent sampling of the sounds.
After all the demo is a fully functional product and it's hard to protect drums sounds with occasional white noise reminders.

Aldo, I've read some in some previous posts that there is a possibility you'll be adding a step sequencer into DKS... Any validity to this? If so, I will kiss your feet! Any timeframe for an addition like this?

I cannot believe I missed this! Man, drum synths are lacking in the softsynth market, and so i'm glad you released this beast! I'm eager to try it out and chances are i'm gonna buy it, i've only tried one drum synt that was worth my time, and that was attack. This one is looking to steal the title away from it!

No timeframe is set, but I can confirm that there will be a nice sequencer in the DKS. It will take a couple of months at least

The next update will improve the sound of the instrument with more flexible envelopes.

Thinking about the built-in sequencer I always run into these questions:
Would a simple step sequencer (a la NUSofting DK+) be enough?
How important is groove quantization support for you?
How important is controlling the synthesizer parameters (automation) within the built-in sequencer?

I think for me that would be cool with support for a bunch of patterns and Pattern bank loading and saving.

How important is groove quantization support for you?

For me ... not a big importance but would be cool to have.

How important is controlling the synthesizer parameters (automation) within the built-in sequencer?

Well most hosts could do that i think but if you have a nice easy way to use automation right in the built in seq, it may be a nice feature to have as then the automation could be saved with patterns etc. right?

Anyways my 2 cents on your questions.

regarding the sequencer... personally, I feel simpler is better. Something that IS important, however, is the ability to export the pattern as MIDI file, or somehow transfer the pattern into the host sequencer (THEN, you can do finer (automation) editing in the host)
A sequencer with just the basics (like the traditional drum machines) to quickly pound out a rhythm, where all controls are accessible from the main page. Simplicity is very underrated.

Thanks to both Paul and Tad for the reply and for sharing their point of view.
So it seems that a simple step sequencer is the way to go for this synthesizer (as long as it can export midi files).
I had a good reason behind the groove quantization support, but it's not necessary at the moment.

One more thing to add about the sequencer....
Like DK+ i would like to see the feature where you can trigger the different patterns via midi notes (Lower down on the keys to where the samples themselves are.) What I really would like though is the ability for the pattern to loop with a key press and then finish playing and keep perfect time before the next pattern/key i press comes into play. So if i press the next midi note early it waits to play it until previous pattern finishes.... Then that pattern loops until i hit another. Then a quick way to unlatch the loop mode too

This would make for a Great Live Jam tool too then.

I called this mode "Live Mode" in the DK+... it's somewhere in the instrument options if liqih didn't remove it (I'm no longer working on the synthesizer).
I could implement a fast "live mode" switch using a MIDI note.
