i still use normal windows explorer and double click files i want to hear.
all mp3 and wav are associated with media player 6.4, it comes up in a millisec and plays the sound, it even plays loops perfectly, whereas the newer mediaplayers cant do that.
there is definately a need for a sample catalogue utility that is easy and fast.. and pretty.

I've been trying all these wav browsers lately and it seems that Loophorse mini is the ONLY one that supports 24 bit playback! ridiculous 
It looks like a good program though although could use more features (it says the full loophorse 4 should be out "early 2006" in the readme, so seeing as it's early 2007 now I'm not holding my breath for that)
