Well, I think Jorgen knows what features of 1 are still missing in 2, but let's join the fun:
- separate tempo for every sequencer.
- tempo automatable with an envelope.
FR: will be fine if the tempo on sequencer 1 could be automatable with an envelope in sequencer 2
- time signatures
- when changing time signatures, move notes to respond to new signature (the way Tracktion does)
- minimizable velocity/cc lanes
FR: automatable bypass of VSTi-s/VST-s (I asked for this in my first post here a long time ago and Jorgen said that it will be in version 2 but it's still missing)
- a coffee making comp.
- etc.

When you alt click to create midi notes, moving the mouse up and down changes the velocity. In XT1, to show the velocity, the note changes colour while you adjust it. In XT2 the note doesn't change colour until after it has been set. (It is also noticeable that XT2 is slower at drawing the new notes.)

yeah but it shows you the velocity value! Even better I think.Charlie wrote:When you alt click to create midi notes, moving the mouse up and down changes the velocity. True, but I would still like the colour to change. Sometimes little things like this add up and make the difference.
(More importantly, having just compared XT1 and XT2, XT1 is a lot snappier!!)

In case noone has mentioned it yet: I'm also missing the mini pictures of the loaded synths in the midi/audio routing window. Not a big issue but it really was a very nice feature in v1

Yeah, I really like them too.MaxJoy wrote:In case noone has mentioned it yet: I'm also missing the mini pictures of the loaded synths in the midi/audio routing window. Not a big issue but it really was a very nice feature in v1.
Actually when I ask myself what it was in the first time that attracted my attention to eXT1, then I find myself thinking that it were those neat eye-catchers which I've never seen before.
Hope they'll come back one day,
though in the meantime I for sure realized the real power of eXT1 and XT2.

i's be happy if all the old features were implemented, because then i could stop using XT2 as VST in XT1 and facing LOADS of bugs
