one hour left on the first file, about 3 more on the other.

when I wake up........it will all be there! (yes, it started progressing faster obviously)

It seems terribly buggy so far in cubase on pc.........who knows why........cubase 4.1? Speakerphone? bad download?

I went dongly doo, you can either and it's easy.

Installation is fine.........just that when I first started downloading it was SLLLLOOOOOOWWWWWW! I'm certain it had something to do with the servers being taken up????

a. I got the mac installer in about 6 hours TOTAL

I am thinking it was actually my connection.....at any rate, it's installed on ye ol' imac as well

b. Oh, and it works better on the imac so far.....but there are a number of weird things to take into consideration...for now

c. IT'S f**king AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!

d. um, I'm too burned out from downloading, learning and troubleshooting to make music......

I couldn't contain myself waiting for the box... so I bit the bullet and D/L 'ed ... 6 hrs, not too bad.

... things like after closing the GUI in Live, not being able to re-open it?

... or the top of the GUI disappearing in Logic?

so far only cosmetic issues for me.

Yeah, if you go to the forum you'll see that the "disappearing" screen and such are common issues. AE has asked a fair bit about it so it's probably something they are working on.

Dual drive seems to be a possible culprit.

glad ta know that it runs in Live, but I'm still waiting for my "response"... I sent the "challenge" around 10am EST this morning... <crickets>....nothin' yet....(except for one kind soul who assured me that it would be OK to close the installer since the "challenge" should be the same on any subsequent attempt to install)
I know the Netherlands is asleep (or should be...) right about now... I'm just impatient

I've run into some car trouble, had to spend money I didn't expect too:(

I almost hit cancel on my order, but you know what...it is so very cool. I'm still not going to pay for a week or so, but I can't wait.

I sent tech support a note (with my challenge code and mail address) and they had me sorted in 30mins!
I've been making robot voices and extremely f**ct up electric piano sounds when I REALLY should be working
