:) Squids has trained us well. We can't even wait to sign up for a group that will take at least 2-4 weeks to finish.

Yes! Just sold some stuff on ebay to pay for this next GB. Bring it on Squids! (Squidlovian response to esoundz group buys has kicked in)(Similar to Pavlovian, just more fun!)

Okay, I am in at number 2. I referred you BERFAB. Hurry up May 30!!! I would so love to hear some reviews of this stuff. Totally stoked about Bozzio, White, Bun E. etc.

There is geometry in the humming of the strings, there is music in the spacing of the spheres. Pythagoras

C'mon Squids, you have 2 signed up and no master thread yet? What's wrong, man??? :) Just joshing.

But we can promote it here for now - Bun E. Carlos wants you to want this group buy!

and buscemi wants you to refer him if you'd like.

Sounds good, but i'm wondering what the base product is...are we looking at DrumCore DeLuxe 2.5, or some slimmed-down version? Obviously at $99, or $149, this is a pretty damn hot deal, but apart from digging the names, I'm not making much sense of the offer's actual content so far.

We're all going on a bit of faith, here, just from our experience with past group buys and reading between the lines about what Squids has hinted at so far. I don't blame you for waiting a bit. I'm sure once Squids gets up the official announcement, the deal will be more clear. I don't think it's DeLuxe. I believe it's going to be 2.5 with some additional content/paks, but we'll see. My view is that it's likely to get to the $99 level, and that's a pretty sweet deal for 2.5 alone, much less any additional content that will get sprinkled in. :hihi:

EDIT: I note the link buscemi posted has more details than the one I saw....strange...so go to that link if you want info on what's included.

Cheers,
Mark

P.S. Squids -- can you clarify a bit about what's meant by the following quote from the GB page:
eSoundz' exclusive DrumCore ProFile Group Buy contains grooves and drum hits from such notable drummers as Steve Gadd (Paul Simon, Steely Dan), Bun E. Carlos (Cheap Trick), Terry Bozzio (Missing Persons), Luis Conte (Sergio Mendes), Sly Dunbar (Bob Marley), Jeff Anthony (Sheryl Crow), Luis Conte (Sergio Mendes), Tony Braunagel (Bonnie Raitt), Michael Shrieve (Santana), Ben Smith (Heart), Lonnie Wilson (Brooks & Dunn), DJ Syze-up (UltraNaté), Matt Sorum (Velvet Revolver), Alan White (Yes, John Lennon), Zoro (Lenny Kravitz) and many more!
Are those part of the basic DC 2.5, or added loops/hits that are part of the GB?

Drumcore does offer a sampling of the various drummers, according to their website. It is called Drumcore AL. Perhaps that is one of the offerings included in this GB. I am sure Squids will come up for air soon and break it all down for us.
Cheers,
G.

Thanks, Geoffrey, I'm sure you're right about Squids. As long as I'm at it with the questions, Squids one more for you:

There was only a download option when I signed up. Given that 2.5 is 6 GB, I'd prefer not to have to be downloading everything. Any way we can get a boxed set of 2.5 and any drummer paks (or at least of 2.5) rather than have it be a download?

Cheers,
Mark
