If you're using the old version, I believe it should respond to midi-program change.

now that just SUCKS.. thats not really a feature to drop in a heavy upgrade.
i hope this is an "oops!" on their part and it will be fixed in next upgrade

too great synth to miss something simple like that

It should have been priced so as not to compete with the alternatives, ie Zebra, Surge, Alchemy and Galadiator.

I have purchased all these, and looked so many times at Helix..... At least I have confidence that Urs will still be around in 2010.... Not sure about Helix though

If it was priced the same as FireBird, I would already be looking to buy the expansion packs....

Well it's pricey, the GUI (IMO) is uninviting and the sound is not quite on par with today's top dogs. Plus there's still the free version for the folks that can cope with that horrid GUI

To me it's like Surge - good idea, fairly nice sounding synth, but there's something about 'em that doesn't click...but that's just me

Helix has very good oscillators and fantastic flexible envelopes. Unfortunately, the filters are sub par. One day I may try to combine Helix with The Drop.

Glad they made 64bit available finally.The BigTone Presets it come with are beautiful.
