Whats that almost harmonica like thing playing in the right side ?

That bas patch reminds me a bit of technotronic when played that way :)

PS, for those that did not notice my last track built using only 2 keys 8)

i hate 44 beats but thought this is KvR so better give them something they can dance to (rhythmless mother f**kers)

Subz, you forgot to press the solo button for kick back to normal again. :hihi:

mkastrup, I'm going to make a submission in the next days; I see that people can submit, you can give hints and then a corrected submit can be done, correct?

Would you prefer to have a preliminary (though completed in sound and arrangement) version to listen/comment/suggest or directly a final version?

Thanks,
Mario

Isn't that kinda the point of DnB? Otherwise it'd be dnB and that sounds boring :D

Yup, the loud kick, i might be wrong but that kick comes out l o u d in my end :) I was thinking you might have made the mix wearing headphones.

Anyways, nevermind just keep them submissions coming. :)

I also suppose the winning submissions could be used to tease the sound bank, so mkastrup obviously has interest in raising the overall level of the results...

Perfectly reasonable and interesting kind of competition, too...

I'll give it a try and jump onto the bandwagon...

Does this one count for my first contest entry?
http://download.yousendit.com/BD0EA51A68318876

It's a club track of sorts with elements of trance (bassline), minimal (blippy-bloppy melodies) and house (shuffled hihats).

The only change to the sounds I did is setting the VCA-env attack of the drum-noise sound to 0 as I use this noise for hihat and clap surrogate.

I set up some automation for the bass line X-Y controls, everything else was untouched.

I hope you enjoy it...
Please give me your feedback.

BTW: I already have a second tune in the pipeline, need to finish it first.

stay tuned
HiEnergy
