OK, I think I'm finished! ... yeah some might say I was finished a long time ago

.... but what I mean is, my track is finished .... Just a bit of tweaking to do, and I'll post it up as soon as I can!

Still time to do a track even for anyone who hasn't started I would reckon, about 12 days! .... come on folks, lets make this comp more competitive than the Scottish Premier League at least!

Where's Kaiyoti? Still too busy hugging his prize from the last comp, and writing his speech, to think about doin a track??

Tell ye what, that mda dynamics plug is not bad at all when you get the hang of it! I dont know how long the mda plugs have sat around being ignored, but I'm gonna have a closer look at them over the next wee while!

Arps made with Oatmeal ( can someone show me how to make a simple 3 octave up/down arp with this ? )*

No external effects, some track eqs.

One Tls-Maximiser as end limiter/EQ.

The title shows how I got back to the main riff...not very elegant.

The kick, hats, snare, etc... they must be made in oatmeal too?

Yeah! But theres a good enuff kick an' snare as presets on the basic Oatmeal download to be goin on with! If you're struggling, I have no probs sendin you my hats and cymbal ... if you think they're any much better than the sound of a dog's shite being swiped with a golf club!

hehe, im using the kick and snare on the factory presets, but im not finding hats, if you have some time to share, i will be glad. thanks in advance.

OK, no problem .... I just need to know what format you want the preset saved in. What host are you using?

I've not ever saved/exported a preset in anything other than a fruity state file ( .fst ) format, but I'm sure I'll get there.

FWIW I used the factory snare preset as a starting point point for my hats.

Anyway, gimme a shout and I'll get on to it!
