Interesting insight on beautiful music in other countries, and an interesting insight into your misogyny.Shamanix wrote:In Serbia all you need is to find some b***h with 110cm+ breasts and your on your way to stardom! Of course being in tune is not mandatory here, and while most studios have shitloads of pro gear, none seem to use autotune.
So there you go, to have beautiful music, at least in Shitbia err Serbia, all you need is 110cm+ breasts.
What makes a song beautiful?

Opps, probably I do.
LOL misogyny, If you'd have to hear & watch all this, and you have nowhere to escape from it (it really is impossible, unless you have enough money to go to another country)
you'd think the same.

A bit harsh perhaps he's offended by the misogynystic exploitation of said breasts?robojam wrote:Interesting insight on beautiful music in other countries, and an interesting insight into your misogyny.

And the reason for using the word bitch rather than woman?matt42 wrote:A bit harsh perhaps he's offended by the misogynystic exploitation of said breasts?robojam wrote:Interesting insight on beautiful music in other countries, and an interesting insight into your misogyny.

I've been skipping this post because I kindof thought it was a ridiculous question with no real answer, but this answer nails it.
The same song with the same, melody, lyrics, EQ, production, expression, etc. may be beautiful to one person but not another. So it's the connection that makes it beautiful.
But I'm sidetracking, back to the boob conversation ....
As for answers that include, EQ, production value, etc. Well there have been beautiful songs for many centuries before there was any such thing as EQ or production value. Lyrics? You can get meaning from a song without knowing any of the words, opera is a good example.mellotronaut wrote:the connection between me and the song

Or look at Sigur Ros or the Cocteau Twins where the lyrics aren't based on any particular language or words.chj wrote:Lyrics? You can get meaning from a song without knowing any of the words, opera is a good example.

Maybe in Serbia you need a big-breasted female dog to get ahead in the music industry.robojam wrote:And the reason for using the word bitch rather than woman?matt42 wrote:A bit harsh perhaps he's offended by the misogynystic exploitation of said breasts?robojam wrote:Interesting insight on beautiful music in other countries, and an interesting insight into your misogyny.

I think there's a big difference between glossolalia and being a dipshit.SparkySpark wrote:Yes, but how about Eminem?robojam wrote:Or look at Sigur Ros or the Cocteau Twins where the lyrics aren't based on any particular language or words.chj wrote:Lyrics? What's key got to do with it.Art Noir wrote:Very simple: The use of a minor key.
Honestly: How many beautiful songs do you guys know that are in C major?!!
Somewhere Over the Rainbow, I believe a beautiful tune. Straight major. {I think it's transposable even.
I think anyone with much of an overview of melodies throughout the years could give you a long enough list.
