30% Maximum, CPU with nothing else loaded. That's not bad at all for my Laptop;
ACER Laptop: Travelmate 2300
Intel Celeron (M)
1.5 GHz
2GB RAM
HOST: Ableton Live 8.1.1
Product Detected Intel® 852GM/855GM
Current Driver Installed 6.14.10.4497

I would like to buy this Today

As soon as it seems to be stable on most machines.abstractcats wrote:When can we buy it![]()

The Mac versions seem to be acting up but since they ALL seem
to suffer from it, it's probably easy to track & fix.

I jus did a typical 'live' test, running through various patterns, swapping out sounds etc in play mode (on the fly), and that was the MAX CPU I managed to reach. I hope this does not sound like I'm trying to be clever but . . . I can never imagine a situation where I would want to hit every single pad at the same instant. It might make for a good 'test' but it would be of little to no value when I got back to making music again!amiga909 wrote:30% maximum?!Aloysius wrote:30% Maximum, CPU with nothing else loaded. On a 3.16Ghz Core2 Duo it shouldn't go over 13%, triggeringamiga909 wrote:30% maximum?! even if u play all 12 drums at the same time?

I really like how this sounds, and I am sure I will buy it especially at a good intro price.
There are a couple of odd behaviors I have noticed in regard to the presets. First, sometimes double clicking a new preset causes my daw to minimize. It does not crash, though. The other, when I click the preset tab it goes to the first kit, not the next. Minor quibbles, but worth looking at.
Nice job.

I have mid spikes only by switching throw kits while playing. Otherwise my CPU load with all pads involved was 10-15 %. WinXP SP3, Energy XT2. Intel Dual Core.

Am I the only one where clicking on the left and right arrows of the preset browser it is not going one (but a whole lot more) presets forward or back? Or isn't it supposed to be?
CPU load is pretty high here too, especially in comparison with MicroTonic. It's about the same as Tattoo, which I find also pretty cpu intensive.
Using Orion 7.62 on a Quad Core 2.20 Ghz it's usually between 15% and 25% with normal/heavy usage. And on my laptop it's about 10% above that
.
It sounds wonderful and looks great. I hope that it can be further optimized somewhat. More like Harmless and not like Sawer please.

Mine is a T2330 and i don't have any spikes. Running FL9.05 on Windows 7rc. CPU is around 15-20% for most patches. I think cpu use has ben highly optimized in windows 7 cause i'm pretty sure i shouldn't get the performance i am doing.kyodeejay wrote:Orion 7.62, Centrino Duo T2500, win xp home sp3 (yes, pretty old...)JMC wrote:What machine/OS are you using?kyodeejay wrote:ouch... very cpu hungry and too much spikes... I cannot afford it
Drumatix used to be A LOT more CPU hungry and only worked offline at first but a lot was optimized in the meantime.
Also count me in. This thing sounds great. I didn't realise there were two plugins till i went back to the webpage. Nice combination.

Live 8.1.1 under OS X 10.6.2 the vst crashes Live then is bypassed. The AU loads, then crashed Live when I clicked a preset arrow (does same on Numerology 2.2). Now it crashes Live whenever I try to load the plugin.
Drumsecutioner?
Drumsecutioner?
Meh.
