Can you give us some more info about this please ?

We just tried and the AU works perfectly in Garageband on a Macbook with OSX 10.6 here.

I am really digging this.
..what goes around comes around..

Hi, in Logic 9.1 on an imac 10.6.2, it doesn't even register in my au validation. I had downloaded and used the beta 1 (and 2 from memory) but have since deleted. When trying to download the unlockable demo I just get nothing.

Bought. Thanks!

The Drumaxx AU simply does not show up in Garageband.
The pull down menu under the instrument generators does not show Drumaxx.
The Drumaxx component is installed in the proper component folder.

I'm going to try trashing the GB preferences so it will force a new rescan of the AU folder, but this is not normally necessary with other plugins.
Let you know if it works.

It works great in Live8 and it's really excellent too.

Anyone using this in Live/OSX? The beta did the preset crash thing mentioned by mcnoone, so it kinda put me off testing the damn thing.

Mine only crashed because, after purchase, I downloaded the "Content Library" software, and the Drumaxx package, and installed them both. That was a mistake. After only reinstalling Drumaxx software only, I had no problem with it.
I also had no problem with the beta version at all.

Is this plugin program change compatible?
I mean presets switch via midi.

Post

I'm using it in 10.6.2, live 8.1.1 and it's solid.

@JMC: I don't suppose it's possible to have a mode that forces the pads to have the same / fixed MIDI note numbers. Assigning a controller / previewing kits with external midi parts is kind of tricky at the moment...

Looking forward to getting this tonight (stuck at work right now)

This thing makes amazing kicks. I'm kinda fan boy now. :o

This thing is a blast! Definitely among the best $13 I've ever spent on music gear. It's a little CPU-hungry, but then again it is running 16 different modelling modules... it sounds amazing and is easy to use. I love the built-in sequencer!

Good job guys. Launch issues asside, you hit another one out of the park!
