Hello there,
I'm experiencing a lot of bad crashes with Anubis inside FL, so I'll skip this OSC
Cheers

Thats a shame Totolitoto, I've not had any probs with Anubis and FL, but decided to go with a relatively unfamiliar host, in some ways to show solidarity with those who may be having problems in a particular host ... might be an opportunity for yourself to experience life beyond FL??
Otherwise get an old single core, coal fire powered computer like mine

Reaper is easy, right and left-ckick everything/everywhere, check the menus, its good luck in the long run to have a solid backup. Does Adonis also crash in FLS?Totolitoto wrote:Hello there,

Put your home desktop computer setup on the furnace intake, and let it pre-warm the air for the heating system. Every btu counts and coststattiemannie wrote:Thats a shame Totolitoto, I've not had any probs with Anubis and FL, but decided to go with a relatively unfamiliar host, in some ways to show solidarity with those who may be having problems in a particular host ... might be an opportunity for yourself to experience life beyond FL??![]()

The fact that you still have neighbors indicates your music might be pretty good!tattiemannie wrote:ha ha ... I already have paint flaking on the wall nearest the fan!! ... I think maybe my next door neighbours are reaping the benefit on their heating bills!

Mine will be ready just before the deadline, If I'll ever manage to start working on it
Got another track to complete, hopefully will get things moving soon.

I think I'm gonna be chasing the deadline as well! ... had another wrestle with madtracker tonight, and a track will be squeezed out somehow

Haunted Megalopolis by mrblitz000
Renoise Host
2 instances of Anubis
1 Poor Plate Reverb
In Renoise, tweaking some of the knobs causes a massive CPU spike. This could be where the crashes are coming from on other hosts. In Renoise, it just shuts the song down (stops play), and notifies the user that it has maxed out (90% CPU is the default for this message).
In between the random CPU spikes from turning knobs, one instance of Anubis seems to take about 10% of CPU on my 'oldish' machine.

... Hmmm yes, now that I have 9 instances in madtracker, I am starting to get cpu spikes ... I've had the track temporarily stutter, and volume drop out, but no crashes as yet... no obvious reason for the cpu spikes, and otherwise, cpu runs at around 26%.

The cpu spikes comes from that its fukcing buggy, I tried it in ableton (which I am learning now) and it just wont go away, this synth is subpar. Imo. Can I choose the synth next time?
It turned out the kittens mittens were hidden in the cats pyjamas all along.
