My name is Ichiro Toda(daichi). I am a developer of Synth1. Thank you for having you use Synth1. I am tempted into Teksonik now and write in it at this forum.
I intend to update it steadily in future.
I will sometimes write in it at this forum.
I am sorry, but I please do not ask a too difficult question because I am weak in English.![]()

I'll cross-ref with the bank names tomorrow and see if we can work out where the ambiguous ones like soundbank00 are from

Another proud Synth1 user here. I believe synth1 is the most CPU friendly VSTi ever. It is a must in all netbooks.

Wow, this surely came unexpected.
Thanks.
I love this synth. And I think the GUI is perfectly fine. Not the fancy type that's trying to look like hardware, but clean and you can change the colors, and most importantly: You can change it's size. Love that feature.
Thanks.

Hello, and thank you very much for Synth1! You are a great programmer and a very kind person. My favorite features of Synth1 are its oscillator sync and saturation; they are very musical and smooth.daichi1969 wrote:Nice to meet you good evening.![]()

Synth1 is my favorite freeware synth. I'm so happy this Ichiro is still around.
This is a pretty damn good update IMO. Now I can practically have all the banks I want. I'm sure he'll update the features sooner or later.

BTW, IIRC there was some topic where someone posted a mockup GUI for Synth1, how could it look... am I mistaken, perhaps?

Welcome Daichi, you are a legend in the VSTi world! Thanks for the amazing synth. Adding preset banks is a great feature, since there are so many preset banks available. Glad to hear you will be updating it, but don't change too much. Of course improving sound quality, polyphony, making it compatible with changes in technology would be great. But the GUI and sound character are fine, there's a reason it's become such a loved synth.

Hm, perhaps it was that, but I think I remember some other examples. Can't find the topic using forum search... :/szurcio wrote: BTW, IIRC there was some topic where someone posted a mockup GUI for Synth1, how could it look... am I mistaken, perhaps?

I'm sorry.
I think that this is caused by a bug of initsettings.exe. I think that I occur in the case of new installation by all means.
I update it immediately.
