Thanks for this, drewfx. I was on the fence, but decided $69 was a little too steep for a crossgrade. If they would have priced it at $49, I would have bought it upon reading the email.

Hopefully... hopefully they'll take 4 or 5 more years until version 3 and during that time add some more modules. That would be rad. Given the missing manual and the fact that the GUI steals loads of CPU power I think they did release it a little bit too early. Guess it was the Xmas thing. Did I say I jumped on it.

I noticed in REAPER that there's a side chain input ; It shows up in the envelope follower that can then modulate any operator target .............Also noticed that when you are in the matrix and select destination that the available operator targets light up to red ..................

There's plenty of improvements if you dig around a bit .........They were plenty good to me this year with great deals on Xenon and Master comp so I'm not begrudging them some income in this case ...... Overall I think it's a really good upgrade .. although they do seem to have gotten it out the door quickly ( Hope the manual is as good as the original one when it's done... It's really needed for a plug like this !!!)

It's kind of hard to judge a plug like this just by strolling through the presets... Roll up them sleeves and start adjusting some stuff to tailor it to your material and it reveals possibilities...............

I'm pretty sure this is crashing ableton with me... anyone else getting some random crashes all of a sudden when using this plug in?

coming a little late to the game here....

I'm demoing this now, and noticed that they dropped the Moog HP and BP filter types. I used the Moog HP filter all the time, kind of bummed that it was dropped.

Other than that it seems like a nice improvement over Nitro. Not a huge change, and perhaps expensive given how much new functionality is there, but a nice improvement nevertheless. The delay operator seems to be a lot more flexible than the original. The whole thing sounds slightly better to my ear. Seems lighter on the CPU, although I haven't stressed it very much yet.

FYI there will soon come an update that will supposedly fix most of the severe problems.

Yes, it is crashing Live 8.2.1 systematically (without this plug-in inserted, Live is otherwise rock-solid for me these days).

This is still one of my favourite effects and I can see many people love it too so why is it virtually abandoned? PSP made it into some modules for Cherry Audio Voltage Modular, which I have and they are great too, but it's time now for N2O to get some love from PSP, and maybe become N3O.

Wouldn't hold out for it. A lot of PSP plugins look ancient now.

They are have a very odd approach to their plugins in some respects. Why abandon such great plugins like N2O and the 608? They still sell these at full price and even have something in the marketing for N2O that states 'expandable architecture - new operators and modulator types to be added in future versions while preserving backward compatibility' - that never happened. It borders on deceptive marketing imho. And why do they keep changing the name of Infinistrip?

Indeed. They started transitioning their plugins to iLok (again) like a couple of years ago, and then released the Infinistrip and everything stalled. It's a pity, as the quality has always been there, and they are really friendly and nice guys to treat with.

Could not agree more!
It is one of my favourites as well.
Pretty outstanding in many ways (still is)
and sounds absolutely delicious

My only wish : Resizble GUI !!
(that shit is tiny)

Planning on using it quite a bit longer
