Maybe this is a good free one.
yeah, it's fantastic - very limited, but the sound is IT.
Another vote for this one. I have a few nice commercial phaser plugins, but this old freebie wins out more often than not. Everyone should have it in their arsenal. Killer plugin.

I agree to that and i also like the Phaser FXs included inside the Korg MDE-X plugin.

My favorite built-in FXs (including Phaser + Chorus) are from Waldorf PPG Wave 3.V.

I never understand why so many synths have to come with these FX tacked on, especially emulations of instruments that don't have an FX section.

I like Virtual Creations UltraPhazer and Audio Damage Phase Two ...

Even ones that sound very similar to untrained ears.

But I have to say that BigRock definitely is at the top of the heap, for a rock solid, full bodied, space-age phaser sound. And its advanced page allows you to go beyond the Small Stone sound, into more or less extreme territory. For over the top or subtle phasing and modulation of audio material. Which are just as useful at times.

BigRock should be in every guitarist and electronic musician's toolbox, period.
It delivers the vintage Small Stone sound and beyond.
again you simply nailled it, hunter... ;)

To me, built-in fx are a common courtesy, making life easier and more productive,
assuming the fx are of good quality matching the instrument. Especially if they were
already coded, and easy to integrate.

with lots of synths, you can modulate the synths effects with the synths modulators...
