Hmmm.... if there's anyone from Germany willing to order more than one issue, please let me know. I never could've imagined there is still companies offering only credit card as a payment option... how poor is that...

Yep, I will happily grab a spare Z3ta+ serial/installer from any lucky CM owner
TIA!
The installer anyone?

I'm gonna have to buy this issue. Normally $11 is a lot for a magazine but considering it includes something that was once $99 I'd say it's a good deal.

Has anyone registered their CM-freebie copy of z3ta+? I ask as I saw this written on their (Cakewalk's)website :-
So, will my z3ta+ work past 30 days? Are we eligible for the upgrade to z3ta+ 2.1?
Shif.
When I tried to register (with what I assumed was a unique serial printed on the back of the CD sleeve) I was told by Cakewalk's site that my serial number had already been registered multiple times and my registration attempt was declined :/What's the difference between a "serial number" and a "registration code?"
You give us the serial number and we give you back a registration code. The serial number is the number assigned to your particular copy of the software. Each unit has its own unique serial number. The registration code is what allows you to use your particular copy of the software past the 30-day trial period.

Hi,
since I don't have an option to purchase mag over internet or get it here locally , I'd kindly ask if anyone already owning Z3ta and having spare serial would be so generous to give it away. To me, of course
!
Please PM me and thank you, very, very much!

That happened to me with Rapture. Cakewalk gave me a new reg code. He should have given you a new code. You need to call them back. (Apparently, someone bought my (physical) copy of Rapture, registered it, then shrink-wrapped it back up and returned it to the store. (Still didn;t keep CW from mjaking me feel guilty that the reg code had already been used) But, it was fixed in 2 minutes.

I bought it at a store, the day the magazine came out. I've sent Cakewalk support an email about it, will have to see what happens!4lb Kitty wrote:Did you buy it at a store or get it in the mail?

I tried registering and got registration error, so I phoned cakewalk and they said that this product works fully on the serial number and does not need a registration code.Shifrin wrote:Has anyone registered their CM-freebie copy of z3ta+? That's reassuring, as I've not heard back from Cakewalk yet (and I'm not sure I will given I'm not a 'paying' customer)! I don't suppose you know if we are still able to upgrade to z3ta+ 2 without being able to register z3ta+? Would just be nice to know one way or anothersimonden wrote: I tried registering and got registration error, so I phoned cakewalk and they said that this product works fully on the serial number and does not need a registration code.

Sorry - I didn't ask that as I have no plans to upgrade (as it is PC only).Shifrin wrote:I don't suppose you know if we are still able to upgrade to z3ta+ 2 without being able to register z3ta+? Would just be nice to know one way or another
The phone numbers were easy to find, quickly answered and they were very friendly and helpful, so I don't think it would be a problem (They even offered me another serial to allow registration, which I declined)

Actually you are, at least that is what it's like usually... depends of course whether the keys are handed out by Cakewalk or CM, but it would surprise me if not Cakewalk would give them out, so they are the ones to give you support also. It is their product you purchased, even if it is on a mag's DVD.Shifrin wrote: That's reassuring, as I've not heard back from Cakewalk yet (and I'm not sure I will given I'm not a 'paying' customer)!
