It is not made on an iPad, only the sounds are from it. It is mixed and mastered in a studio and most of the apps are 2009 apps and do indeed sound like crap. Lots have happen since , Mate. Just listen to synths like sunrizer, addictive, Nlog Pro , iMS20 , iSyn Poly, Alchemy and animoog and you will realise that they are just on par with the best of VST synths.

Anyway, to each his own. It is no crime not to like the iPad for music production. It is a personal matter, but if you make overgeneralisations, people will get offended, so simply stick to your personal view and everything will be fine.

A contradiction to be sure. Trolls and mods have been at odds since the interweb was born. Sure, Mushy has strong opinions and strong words to communicate them but he's no troll as far as I can see.

As far as the topic goes... I'm sure that with all the hype going around, it's easy to become disappointed/disillusioned with some iApps. However, it's up to us users to do our homework and not fall into the GAS trap.

Now, when the originator of such an inflammatory thread responds to someone else's posts by calling that person a "troll," that tends to confirm my opinion that the thread was intended as flamebait... or perhaps out-and-out trolling.

So Insaniac, once again, to demonstrate that you weren't trying to start trouble, I recommend you drop the personal grief and get back on topic. That's two warnings.

You know, I must say I also love iPad music making enough to get a little naggy about responses like

All of them. Seriously they're all sh!t for any serious music.
FL Studio is the best but that is only good for farting around with in bed.

so couldn't we just agree about about a better tone and forbid lame overgeneralisations?
