Don't worry DSF does regular sales so you should be able to pick them up at a nice price later on.Tricky-Loops wrote:Just a few hours before your post I've already read all about these soundsets - but unfortunately I haven't enough money any more because I have spent nearly everything for the Black Friday deals...
BTW, it's a great company with good customer service, the Digital Sound Factory, some months ago they had sent me immediately the soundfont version as I couldn't load their Proteus presets in my Proteus VX...
I got them all from Cakewalk during the spring when they did a lot of sub $20 for DSF stuff. So things will probably show up discounted again at Cakewalk to.

Yeah but still some don't load. The samples are in the folder, that's why i thought it was 7 issues does seem to be fewer patches though.
Seem to be a small issue at win7 64bit, I found the missing samples in prg(x86) folder. Just copy them to prg folder and everything will work.

Now got a sales pitch from Cakewalk, that they are selling Rapture directly for $19,99
So one can pick up the sweet synth directly from Cakewalk withouth having to go via Sweetwater, for those who still haven't invested

Maybe, but depends also how much you value time, and how much faster you will get the reg code for the instrument, shopping directly with Cakewalk.reusenoise wrote:But if you are an Euro customer it's better to buy from Sweetwater, you don't have to pay the vat
A lot of people had problems with Sweetwater during the weekend, that the reg code they got for Rapture didn't work directly.

I bought from Sweetwater and it was almost immediate and the code redeemed so they must have sorted the issues out.

My favorite thing with Rapture. It loads SFZ. So if you get sfZed and make your own SFZ's you can load them in Rapture. I did this with waves from the Viral Outbreak (purchased from FL, meant for DirectWave but sound SO much better in Rapture) Takes some time, but well worth it.

I had a minor snafu with Sweetwater which they corrected early the next morning. I purchase from them several times a year and it's the first bump I've ever encountered. All other things being equal (price, etc), I'd buy from Sweetwater every time.

I'm happy to hear that it has been sorted by SWmusikmachine wrote:I bought from Sweetwater and it was almost immediate and the code redeemed so they must have sorted the issues out.
Some people where going crazy in another thread here Friday evening, about not having gotten a working code from SW

You can load up four of them at once, really makes it easy to come up with some complex sounds quicklyosiris wrote:My favorite thing with Rapture. It loads SFZ. So if you get sfZed and make your own SFZ's you can load them in Rapture.
I haven't tried with the free content for Zampler, but I think that should work too.
