Hi Andy,andyf53 wrote:Hi guys, has anyone been able to confirm the 64 bit plugin working with Live 9?
Still having trouble here
Andy
I just checked that the XILS 3 BE is working as a 64 bits plug-in (on a windows7 64 bits system) using two 64 bits DAW.
Unfortunately, I didn't install live9 on this system yet (I will do soon)
So can't answer you 100%.
I don't see any reasons it doesn't work,anyway, but until I test it, I can't be sure.

Hi Xavier, apologies for my delayed response.
Thank you for testing.
I still can't see the 64 bit plug in Reaper or Live, however this does suggest an issue at my end. Do you have any insight into how I might remedy this?
All plugs are at c:\VST\Xils3 with either \32 or \64 added as appropriate.
From what I've heard of the 32 bit bridged plug in Reaper, it's a beautiful sounding synth...

Hi Andy,
There are two folders to be chosen during installation.
The preset folder (where all the preset will be copied) which must be user accessible and the .dll folder, where the .dll plug-in will be copied (and where the DAW is looking to launch the plug-in)
Sorry to write all this, you may know it, but there are sometimes confusion.
So if the .dll folders for the 32bits is different than for the 64 bits, for the moment, I can't see the point.
Are you sure that your DAW is correctly pointing to the 64 bits VST folder ?
On my test machine, I'm using two different folders for the 32 and 64 bits
32 bits : c:/program files(x86)/Steinberg/vstplugins
64 bits : c:/program files/Steinberg/vstplugins
My 32 its DAW (cubase 4, vsthost 32bits) is looking for the "c:/program files(x86)/Steinberg/vstplugins" folder and my 64 bits DAW (Cubase5, vsthost 64bits) is looking for "c:/program files/Steinberg/vstplugins".
Anyway as soon as I get Live 9, I will do more tests.
(I will try Reaper within a couple of days)
Best

man... you'd better hope they've never heard a real one before (or even Xils 3/4 for that matter), or they're going to be insulted. why are you digging up old threads all over the internet to spam everyone with synths that only vaguely look like the originals?
after your recent postings on Muff's, i knew exactly what the latest post was going to be when i saw this thread pop up from the grave the other day. then i tried your free VCS3 Putney plugin. then i fired up Xils3 again.

why don't you post something you've produced with those other synths of such great difference?jbuonacc wrote:man... you'd better hope they've never heard a real one before (or even Xils 3/4 for that matter), or they're going to be insulted. why are you digging up old threads all over the internet to spam everyone with synths that only vaguely look like the originals?

I'd like to hear how much better they sound since you have NOTHING in your music tracker.
