Yeah- he went way over the line on a couple occasions. I think the nail in the coffin was his posts in the old off-topic forum.
I thought he was a good builder and funny guy with a twisted sense of humor. RIP John Nowak's Reaktor phase.
John's big problem was (and is) his emotional age not being anywhere close to his intellectual age. I like John in small doses; we used to chat on occasion.

I'm thinking of doing a Video crash course on how to get reaktor up and running Ableton live 9. It would just cover the bare essentials on how to load up existing stuff and work with it.

Would anyone be interested?

Does anybody own this......or any individual ensembles from this package? If so: thoughts?

If you like the sound of string machines then Hugo Portillo's Eminent V 310 and Solina-V String Ensembles from the user library are very well-done. I have been searching around on string machine synths lately (own a Xils V+ license already) and found many recommendations for these two. They really do give that classic sound!

Molekular is one of the best things to come along in a while...
BUT, it infuriates me every single time I try to use it in a track, because it is really ridiculously cpu hungry. Its so bad that I really will tend to use it less...

+1 for all things TwistedTools. Super duper useful tools. :tu:

It is a shame they are not all available separately.
They need to split em up and get a smart pricing set up for individuals/suite...

Im not really interested in the whole pack. Maybe some day. But a couple of em sound really cool.
