Yeah, that's all I get. Is studio one different? It crashed on close yesterday.

In live though, it's been better. Much snappier. Still took a good 30 seconds to load in S1. I'll try .14 later, kinda in the middle of mucking with 2.6 today.

actually, crashing on close in REAPER x64 too, at least running as dedicated process. although on another machine everything is fine :?

The latest beta (3.0.16) of WoSIII is working fine for me in Reaper 4.52 (3.0.14 also worked for me).

However, I am having gui problems with WoSIII in Presonus Studio One v2.6. In presonus the gui is cut in half and I cannot access the right half of the controls such as the menu or output knob. I cannot find a way to resize the gui window at all.

Also, in reaper the gui is resizeable--but XL is super large twice the size of my 1920x1080 desktop resolution and small almost fills my desktop resolution and it looks blurry as if it were a small image that was blow up (even the small gui setting).

Anyone else having these issues?

I'll try it a bit later (I have studio one)

played around yesterday a bit, crashes finally fixed (both exit crashes and random crashes), yay! i can run it natively now, without bridging. had a crash on first run but never appeared again and no other problems.

Burillo I saw your message on the Help Desk. I don't know what happened but if it finally works...

We changed a lot of things since the previous version, to boost the loading of the plugin and many other small events that could take too much time. The CPU performance should be way better as well, but you may need an old computer to notice it... ;)

higain_guitar -> could you please send us a message to the Help Desk so we can work on your issue?

As you can resize the plugin, we experience various issues with window resizing, depending on the sequencer. Recently Reaper64 started to work properly in VST while it always worked perfectly in AU...
Best regards.

Good to hear Burillo :D I hope I get some hours to myself in the late night or small hours of tomorrow...I'll take what I can get! To try it myself, I haven't had problems with the earlier beta but again not exactly been close to stress testing it which I would like to be

Too the two-notes guys, Nice one on making great even greater. Itching to dig in when I can

Best to everybody as always :)

Good to see you around, Dean. Yeah, you will be happy with the cpu performance is WAAAAY better. And they also happened to fix the no loading presets problem. Well worth the install for the latest version.

what issue did I need to get to get the cm version?

This was updated again. I'll DL and try it in a few. Also there is a viddy, you'll have to go to their site and click on tutorials. Uggggg, opera is a PITA sometimes!

Post

i haven't noticed any differences from .0.16, but that's because for me it was already working perfectly :-D

The 3.0.16 AU occasionally crashed Reaper, AU showed only 1 in/1 out aaaand there were some occasional audio dropouts. All of the above are no more in the new 3.0.18. Reported those a few days ago, fixed already and I'm loving this thing big time.

The cabs are a bit on the costly side "per piece", but the framework around them is great, support is top notch and everything's transferable, so that's a big plus over the other usual suspects and I'll gladly pay a few bucks for that.

They are definitely putting up the good fight getting it fixed!
