I did some research and confirm the hit/miss build quality of the Omega. Strange though, it is listed as a completely supported device on Auria's web site....

I already have a midi device, so, if I removed that item from the list, how does the focusrite itrack solo compare? The more research I do, the better I like the iRig Pro...

And a final question for this post... I don't see anywhere where there is a line out on the iRig Pro... That can't be right, can it?

Thanks again!
Salt Lake, have family between here and there though. Every time I'm up there I have to make a trip to Farrs.

The Focusrite has a short 15 cm cable, works only for iPad, just 30 pin connection so it doesn't work on the newer lightning devices without an adapter and not portable since it has to be plugged into a power source (wall) to power the interface. This all kind of defeats the mobile factor of using an iOS device in general.

It uses the headphone port. For the gigging musician or someone that wants to connect it easily on the go we have the iLine Cable Kit to connect it to whatever you'd need to.

Thanks again for the info! Let me know if you want, when you get back in town--we could beet up and talk shop. :-)

(Also: I'm Accused of lying about Linux—it boots, runs my pro audio workflow, stays stable, updates--though yearly dismissed as “niche”. Yet I'm the deluded one.)

Ha, I just re-read what I wrote... I meant meet up, not beet up. :-) You understood what I meant though. :-)
