Yes it does, Theo..TheoM wrote: - i already own metaplugin, which doesn't have a wet/dry..
Just hold down the Shift key, and drag horizontally on the green rectangle.
I did get a life,once...but it was faulty, so I sent it back.

how much cpu one instance of this plugin use alone when activated?
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Metaplugin DOES have wet/dry control for EACH PLUGIN. You know the big green bar for each plugin, hold shift and drag = wet/dry control. (explained further in their manual if I didn't explain it well)TheoM wrote: i already own metaplugin, which doesn't have a wet/dry and is not single click like this, as it needs cabling).
I'm demoing both Metaplugin and Patchwork, and the ability to run AU's & this wet/dry control is leaning me towards Metaplugin. Plus it costs less, even with the Blue Cat intro sale!! Does Patchwork add anything new/better than DDMF metaplugin? I like BlueCat GUI better, and the copy-paste & undo/redo options + preset storing per plugin seems makes it easier to setup.
But I'll take that extra time for functionality every day of the week. If only BlueCat supported per plugin wet/dry and AU, I would purchase theirs instead...

I haven't checked out Bidule in a LONG time, but when I did it was only a standalone app that you could synth with your DAW via rewire. Has this changed? Is it now available as a plugin IN your DAW?TheoM wrote: I heard bidule can do it but I'm not entirely sure as the demo is the standalone only and I'm not willing to spend 100 bucks on a maybe.

Yes. "Runs as VST/AU plugin or standalone" But check my comments about it on the previous page...LGK_Dude wrote:I haven't checked out Bidule in a LONG time, but when I did it was only a standalone app that you could synth with your DAW via rewire. It's hard to tell as it depends on your host application and your hardware configuration. On a 2012 iMac with 3.4 Core I7 CPU we were able to load up to 2000 instance inside Pro Tools HD 11, so the CPU hit of the plug-in should be pretty unnoticeable in most cases.murnau wrote:how much cpu one instance of this plugin use alone when activated?
Example below with 1000 instances in PT10:

Please, do you know if we can route multi-output instruments like Kontakt?
I don't know how to do on pro tools, it seems is not publishing plugin output to the host..

From the User Guide:
Multiple Channels Support
The plug- in supports audio streams in mono, stereo or multichannel (surround) formats (up to 8 channels). If you insert a plug- in that can process less channels, only the first channels will be processed, and others will be forwarded to the next plug- in, until it reaches the output of the PatchWork plug- in.

It looks like we need to hire you too, DarkStar
In case it may help clarifying what the plug-in does, here is a short overview video:

Man, I wish my host would do that with the same specs.Blue Cat Audio wrote:Example below with 1000 instances in PT10:
(sidenote: I do have an iMac 11.3 equivalent, but can't even load nearly half as much)

What's your host application? Also, it may be related to your audio interface (the more CPU it uses, the less for plug-ins). The AVID HDX interface may help making the difference too.

RME Digiface and Cubase 7.
No need to say more - unfortunately.
