I just want to say that LuSH-101 is absolutely not an "one trick" synthesizer, you can get an extremely wide variety of amazing sounds out of it! I think the price is more than fair.SLiC wrote:[...] Sounds and Looks nice, but I just checked the price- A little 'one trick' compared to say Diva (which I have) so I think I will be passing....I have said that before and then still bought things...bloody plug in addiction...
D16 updated LuSH-101 to version 1.1.1

Revisited today "Africa" knock off, nice intro, nice outro, middle section total f***up, anyways don't worry I won't gonna post crappy clips here anymore, I myself got totally bored with it, waste of time haha.
BTW that GUI looks like was made for use with projectors

To be fair you get a wide variety of sounds from any synthesiser, that's the pointsolidtrax wrote:I just want to say that LuSH-101 is absolutely not an "one trick" synthesizer, you can get an extremely wide variety of amazing sounds out of it! It is however modelled on a 101 and sounds great (like a 101)- the fact that you can have lots of layers of 101 is nice and convenient; my point was that I already have Diva which can make most of these sounds pretty well and when I stick it in a live rack I can get a couple of 6 Diva's playing/arping simultaneously for less CPU use and the same 'layered' effect with key mapping etc. For 'me' it doesn't do anything I cant do or sound any better than what I have- If I could only have one instance of Diva Vs. Lush-101 that may be a different story...
As I said- it sounds great & looks great- if you like the sound of a 101 then it should be high up your list.

I think Lush uses layers in some patches so its doing more voices and oscillators than DIVA.

Thanks! Cause right now 101 is taking up almost all of my 1080 display which is insane. Looks awesome, but it's a little overkill for me.bld wrote:We'll do selection of GUI size asap

The even cores are hyper-threading cores, not physical core. It's typical to not see any load on them until the physical cores are heavily taxed.Teksonik wrote:I don't know if it's possible to push it that much farther....beside if the CPU isn't distributed to the even number cores by now it's not likely to do so if pushed further........bld wrote: Well, try to push it morejust for test. More polyphony on more layers. Try to check if you can go to higher overall CPU usage (about 70%) and still have only half of cores used. I'm curious...

Some systems might require that you enable hyper threading in the BIOS. At work, my previous Xeon-based two processor (eight core) workstation required that. My more recent 16 core one didn't require it.paterpeter wrote:The even cores are hyper-threading cores, not physical core.
